So let me get this straight… they went from having a men's bracket and a women's bracket and now they have a men & women bracket and then a women only bracket?

What a joke of a survey. No information on other products surveyed, how it was conducted, why it was conducted 2 months into the year, etc. Sounds like complete B.S.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the 40,000 people surveyed wasn't just the entire MS staff :P

There is absolutely no reason in this day and age to charge to support any standard USB headset/mic. It literally costs nothing to import the USB drivers to support this... they are open source for x86_63 architecture.

Hell my PS3 used my PS2 headset/mic out of the box even though it wasn't supposed to be supported "officially".

Feel free to throw your money down the drain (i.e. to Microsoft) if you care to. I'll take my money elsewhere... FWIW it might take me out of console gaming entirely the way things are shaping up.
