In Gears if you connect a headshot with a sniper then you not only blow their head off, you explode their head. Brain, skull, and blood spray everywhere. When you hit someone with a shotgun, they explode, and to make it even better, you can see their insides. Ribs sticking out of their corpse, heart, lungs, and other internal organs all visible.

Well, in all fairness, Gears of War is a gritty game, no doubt. You don't exactly hack someones head off with a machete in it though. It's the way they do the kills that makes it incredibly gory. Some of the killing sequences that were in the original Manhunt were insane. In no way does it deserve an AO rating though, it's no different than anR rated movie along the lines of Hannibal or Silence of the Lambs.

I agree to that.

Also, if a game would have full frontal nudity it would get an AO rating instantly. Which is insane. If I turn my TV to MTV tomorrow morning at 9 AM I see the exact same thing.

In Manhunt you actually torture and murder people where the setting is the same as in real life: a realistic setting. Gears of War is a fantasy setting. They feel like Manhunt 'tells' people to go and torture people and whatnot. This is what makes the difference.

Also, you can't really torture people in the cruel sense in Gears of War.

still my ps2 i've bought several games in the past few months. gow2, zoe2, sly3, RaC uya, rygar, nightshade and other ones

DS i buy like one game every 1 or 2 months

wii i only have one game and plan on getting 3 or 4 more games this year

I sold most of my PS2 games. I just kept the ones I could never sell... Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4. I sold the rest.

For Xbox 360 I own:

Gears of War
Forza Motorsports 2
FEAR
Command and Conquer 3

If I didn't sell the games I didn't play anymore from last gen, my PS2 would clearly have the bigger library.

Anyway, I actually just got done playing Resident Evil 4 on my PS2. I'm playing on Professional. And you really need the precision aiming to hit people in the shin, then supplex them to save ammo. And it needs to be done fast.

So if it's really true that it's less precise and slower to aim on the Wii, then I would have to agree with the reviewer.

I seriously doubt missions will be different in anyway from previous Halo games.

Here is an awesome vid of KAIL (one of the DMC gameplay Gods simply put) playing DMC3. You should get a good look at how DMC4 will play, since the gameplay will remain the essentially same fast paced combo-chaining action.

Even if you're not interested I advise you to take a look. It just looks insane. I'm pretty good myself but compared to this guy I'm nothing.

Also, I should add, it's harder to pull that stuff off then it looks (it doesn't look that easy anyway, but still).

Regardless, if you think Halo 3 is the only thing the Xbox 360 has comming this year you're wrong. I'll tell you right now Halo 3 isn't even the best game for 360 comming this year.
