I'd take out the 360

Wii uses motion sensing as an elemental part of the system for the first time in gaming which broadens the gaming experience.

PS3 has some exclusives you'll never get on any other system. And it can do all the 360 games. With the 360 out there'd be no "but it looks better on a 360".

All the other 360 games would come to the PC.

I'll defenitely get a 360 for Xmas but if i HAD to vote on system out i'd go for the one that offes the least unique experiences.

Haben't got enough time on my hands and too many games to play but here is the top of my list:

1.) Wizardry 7: I started about 8 times and never made it through.

2.) Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (X-Box): The cutscene before the final fight was too annoying so i gave up after 2 tries. If anyone knows how to cut them short i'll try again. :)

3.) Ikaruga (Gamecube): Too hard for me. :(

Quite a few games just weren't interesting/good enough for me to bother finishing them. The 3 mentioned above though i wanted to beat but never got to actually beating them.

Why is everyone set on graphics and not art?

I consider Viewtiful Joe, Okami and XIII to be the best looking last gen games.

Sure Farcry was nice and Doom3 looked good. And this gen, Gears of War looks impressive but i still prefer the art of Viewtiful Joe to the "realism" of GOW. And i consider Space Quest IV or Day of the Tentacle to be some of the best looking games ever. As nice as realistic graphics look but would you consider Quake to have impressive graphics nowadays?

So as nice as graphics are, art is what should really matter since art ages a lot better than realism.

People should finally give it a rest with the "X360/PS3 graphics being million times better than Wii" arguement. In 4 years you'll most likely consider the GOW graphics to be average while Viewtiful Joe will still look beatiful.

I plan on getting a 360 for X-mas since it has some great games (GOW, Dead Rising, The Darkness, ...) but i'll play them for their gameplay. Not for the graphics.

Its the same engine, and I wouldnt be surprised at all if a stripped down version of pirates turned up on the wii.

Pirates isn't a 360 game. I sure hope my Wii can run an XBox game and not a stripped down version of it.

I have a hard time going back to shooters, racing games and sports sims. Mainly because there graphics matter for me.

Going back to RPG's, Puzzle games, Adventures, simulations, ... isn't difficult at all though.

I still love Wizardry 7 from '93 but i find it impossible to play NHL 2001.

If it was about graphics we'd be playing Pac Man in HD.

Next gen is about advancing gaming.

Graphics can be part of this but it's also about controls, sound, gameplay, style, the way games are perceived in society, ...

And graphics don't have to be realistic to be good. Graphics can be a form of art. (XIII, Viewtiful Joe)

And if you look beyond the shooter, racer and sports sim genres, graphics don't matter that much.

MMORPG's are about community first.

Management simulations are about realistic business models.

Jump & Runs are about controls.

Adventures are about story.

Sure graphics matter but i still play Sam & Max or Day of the Tentacle rather than Myst.
