For me, TF2 > CoD4.

I got both games, tf2 is better game overall (MP-wise). It is greatly balanced, very creative visual design, few maps but with a good layout.

When i first started i though "wth, 9 classes, how is that gonna do any good to a game?".. and i was wrong =D, every class is put to good use! Competitive play is gonna be really nice also! :)

There´s stillsuper mario galaxyon the Wii, that everyone is really happy about. Could be a good contender on the cross-platform GOTY!

I´ve played TF2/COD4/Crysis, but for me, Portal takes the cake (haha,it sure does =D).

Great design, simple but innovative... and nice touch of humor with a great ending! too bad it was too short!

I personallycheer for Portal. Amazing game: great on the "inovation side", great humor and one of the best endings i´ve seen in a long while :)

But enventually Crysis Will Win.. If it goes in a multiplataform war, im betting it would be Crysis x Super Mario Galaxy =D

Even found someone like me haha, im terrified of spiders in-game, and bugs in general: everytime those spider-like crabs jump in my screen on hl2/exps i press esc, breed slowly and returnto thegame (i eventually press alt-f4).

Another thing that freakme out in fps is little kids in-game. There was a part inPrey that there were little kids spirits crying and attacking, FFS! never got thro that cos it messed me up. Guess i won´t be playing fear anytime soon haha =(

Play the game for what it is instead of just trying to compare to one that ins´t even out yet (crysis). They both fit in the FPS cass but are really different aproachs to the genre. Anyway, bioshock got avg 96 scores, crysis´s most likely to get 90+ also; why waste time comparing them? Just play both if you can, they´ll probably be very enjoable.

Semi off topic:

People usually prefer 1,2 genres of gaming, even tho inalmost every genre there isa "masterpiece", a work of art gaming-wise, imo these games should be at least tried by everyone that actually enjoys gaming in general, even tho it isn´t their favorite genre.
