So I'll start with saying that I've been quite bored with GameSpot lately, and my friend Navigata seems to be feeling the same on this subject. Yep, bored with GameSpot. As he said, it's not the same anymore, plus, many of my good GS friends hardly ever come online anymore.
Not only that, but with all the work and all the games I play, I don't take as much time as before to come on here, comment on everyone's blog, write new blogs everyday, etc.
Now, this doesn't mean I will leave, as I have no intention of leaving, but let's say my activity on GameSpot might be far from what it used to be, so don't be alarmed if I don't comment on your blogs in a week, since it only means I just didn't find the time to come online.
With that out of the way, let's talk about my new purchase off of the PS Store!
Thursday was my most awaited day of the year. Why? MEGAMAN 9!!!!!
I came back from work at 6pm and first thing I did is purchase both Megaman 9 and WipeOut HD, which were two of my most awaited games of the year.
I spent all night playing Megaman 9 and let me tell you this: AMAZING! This game rocks and is one of the best Megaman game I've played to date. That's not to say that the game is freakin' hard at times, especially towards the Wily stages, which I'm still on the first Wily stage because I can't get past these crazy one hit kill flames coming out of both sides of the room in such a synchronized way that I can't figure when I can safely jump to the top of the room yet lol. But I've just figured out how I'm going to do it, so tonight, I'll get past them! I hope so -.-
WipeOut HD retains what made me love the name: High speed anti-gravitational races. Not only that, but it also has Trophies! I've gathered 5 Trophies in the game so far, which gives me a big.. 5% complete, woo. Anyway, the title ressembles alot these that came out for PSP, xept it is in HD and beautifully fast. As usual, the first class isn't overly fast, but I tried out Phantom class and I tried out a Zone track. Zones consist of a single track with you, and only you. As you progress, the speed increases all the time.. and you don't get any relaxation as the speed increases little by little every second and never comes to a stop. At around 16-18 Zones I think, Phantom class clutches in and the speed still keeps going up. I heard there was 99 Zones, as there is a Trophy for reaching 99 Zones, now that's pure madness!
Alright well, that's about it. Later people.
