Metal Gear Solid

Taking #4 spot is Metal Gear Solid. I intend on puting only 4 images per series, hence why Twin Snakes and Guns of the Patriots aren't in there. Metal Gear Solid has been one of my favorite series from back when the first game came out for the PlayStation One. I remember renting that game with a friend and beating it really quickly actually. Was short and kinda easy, but I still loved it and got hooked. I remember being sooo excited when I heard about a sequel, which was far from disapointing. Then followed the other games in the series after the popular, good ol' Metal Gear games, which I do not include in here because I franctly prefer the MGS series themselves, although technically they are part of the same series. Metal Gear Solid is all about tactics, stealth, well thought actions, or good ol' shooting frenzy. There is no actual specific way of playing the game despite what people who claims to be fans say. You feel like going there, unknown to the enemy, never seen like you didn't exist? You can. You feel like going all out and kill everything that moves? You can as well. But the game's true form isn't aquired by playing either of these genres but rather by mixing them both. You can go all sneaky and then take out your gun to take out an enemy that is in the way for you to complete your objective. Most games out there are either pure stealth or pure all out action, while Metal Gear Solid has a perfect blend of both genres making it a very unique experience. On top of that, it has a very deep story line which might seem complicated to follow, but as you see more of it, you understand better and it keeps you interested, simply to actually know what the hell is going on.
