I would post the IMDB link, but you have to see the trailer to understand how awesome this film is. This is the definition of 80's movie. I don't know why but the 80's had a higher concentration of ridiculous movies than most other decades. This movie looks like it is set in the 50's, but it is more a parody of that decade in a way since everything is so exaggerated and crazy. Everyone speaks like they are constantly ready to fight you. There are amazing lines like "From now on it's for real!" The cast is great too with Wilem Dafoe being as creepy as ever, and the underrated Michael Pare fighting to save the beautiful Diane Lane. Rick Moranis is in it too, because why the hell not right? This is not a great movie. It is campy and cheesy beyond belief at times and it almost seems to be a parody of itself. Oddly enough that makes it more fun to watch because of how ridiculous it is. Try not to think too much and just enjoy the great music and silly and fun story.
