9/11 was a tragic day, but to build a giant tower in tribute? No offense to the vicitims of 9/11. but that is just a big waste of time. A memorial would be better, or something nice like a garden not another huge tower. If building freedom tower is important for some other reason fine, but to build it as a tribute it dumb. Also I dont think 9/11 should be declared a national holiday or day of some sort, what is the point of that? Some people dont want to remember that day and making it into a holiday will not do anything. End of rant.
