Sony announced a PSP version of Little Big Planet will be coming this year.
- Sony confirmed that MTV Games will release Rock Band Unplugged for PSP, developed by Harmonix. The game will support downloadable content through the in-game store. The game will be played by Left, Up, Triangle and Circle buttons, and L & R shoulder buttons are used to switch between guitar, drums, bass and vocals. Vocal is done by button pressing. Rock Band Unplugged will include tracks from AFI, Blink 182, Boston, Kansas, Lit and The Police.
- Atlus announced its upcoming PSP remake of the c1assic RPG Persona will be coming to North American in Q4 2009.(i am sure i will lke it )
- Ubisoft announced an exclusive installment of Assassin's Creed will be coming to PSP this year, an Assassin's Creed PSP Bundle Pack is also planned.
- Sony and Disney Interactive will release an exclusive Hannah Montana dancing and rhythm action game for PSP, and a Hannah Montana PSP Bundle Pack is planned, which will come with a Lilac-colored PSP hardware, Hannah Montana game, a UMD video with a collection of Hannah Montana TV episodes, a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo and stickers.
- D+Pad reported that in SCEE's Staff Annual Briefing in London, David Reeves mentioned that PS3 will be getting more competitive in price from March 2009 onwards, which indicates the PS3 will likely to receive a price drop sometimes in March.
- Square Enix will publish the PC version of Last Renmant in North America and Europe on March 24; and on April 9 the game will be available on Valve's online PC platform Steam.
- Square Enix announced that two major Eidos shareholders have accepted its take over bid offer. Current Square Enix owns 11.13% shares of Eidos. The company is aiming to acquire a majority ownership of Eidos.
