In a world with perfect internet infrastructure, where every person has an unending bandwith to spare, this is probably the top dog. In reality, with high speed infrastructures varying in every country, area or even houses, with bandwith varying depending on as many factors (and/or incidents) this is probably not going to work yet. But sounds like the gaming of the super fibres future! Btw, is it just me or does this article sound like an advertisment directly written by the marketing division of Onlive?
Mindboggingly boring... more feast for the brainwashed zombiehorde of wow addicts, nothing more or new... Let's face it, Wow is fun until lvl 20 or 30, after that its just a neverending grind...Also, there are no skills at all required to play this game, thats probably the reason so many people are still sticking to it..
U cant really compare PC gaming with console gaming. Gaming content (social factor: sitting in a room with five friends playing winner keeps in street fighter or sitting alone in front of ur pc playing with millions in WOW) and input devices (mouse better for certain games, gamepad better for others) aside. It is not possible. Since the PC always gets compared in its current technological state, while the consoles are bound to their initial hardware until the release of a next gen. The fresh next gens are usually ahead of the pc for a couple of months then the pc gets the pole position again until the next, next gen. And so on. If u compare Pc with consoles then please only with ones that were built in the same month/year like the specific console. Also, never forget the problems a game can make on the pc because a driver or card is not properly fitted for certain games.... on a console this risk is much smaller.... Both side have their advantages, it is just a matter of gaming preferences...
The simple fact that there are comparisons like these shows that the 360 has "won". Not to the grapical differences, since they are only marginal. But because of the fact all the sony fanboys where shouting for years in advance that the playstation 3 will be absoultely superior to everything else. Which it is not, as clearly seen until this day.... Thats how it is folks, not Sony brought the Playstation down, but mostly the fanboys hyping in advance in a way no console could ever really achieve. And now please don't tell me the playstation will kick ass with future games, notice the same pattern again...???

There are as many that play better with a pad than with mouse and kboard. Or tell me you beat me in Streetfighter with your keyboard... "Anything "new" that the console only crowd is experiencing, PC gamers have experienced it many times before... " Again, this is only half true. Yes I agree with the points you mentioned, but there are also many things were console gaming has it's advatages. Lets face it, console gaming is a more sociable way of gaming, and I am not talking over-the-internet-social, I am talking sitting on your sofa with 5 friends in front of a big screen tv laughing your freaking ass of-social... Strange, I didnt notice any problems at all with the 360 version... hmm perhaps becuase I have an european version?
