Xbox 360

I often get the question why I buy such an "overpriced" ( ) system as the PS3, instead of the "superb" ( ), Xbox 360. They say that the games are the same. Yeah, right.

MGS pwns Halo and Splinter Cell
Killzone pwns Halo
Virtua Fighter pwns Dead or Alive
Tekken pwns Dead or Alive
Gran Turismo pwns Forza Motorsports

Any new game from the team behind SotC/ICO, will pwn EVERYTHING that the X360 can throw out there.

Peace out.

Only one word can describe it, wow.

I just watched the 2 hour long press-conference of Sony, and OMG. This is great. Not only did we get the exact release and price, we also got to see the new controller (sweet).

17th of November, here I come!

What the crap are they thinking?!

Seriously! Nintendo, get a grip, damnit! Your fans have to take crap from fanboys all the time, such as, "Haha, your console is only for kids! Haha!". And what do you do about it? Well, you're not releasing another Resident Evil, atleast. WII?! WTF?!
Couldn't you come up with anything better? Seriously, keep Revolution, even though it sucks, it's still better than WII.

- ' "Wii" sounds like "'we" ' JESUS CHRIST!

Takahashi doesn't like the Revolution

So, everyones favourite game character Katamari's creator Keita Takahashi recently stated he wouldn't do any projects for the Revolution.
He said "It doesn't interest me. I dont think a controller should have that big influence on how we enjoy a game". Nintendo lost a great creator that is.
I dont know, perhaps he's right. Perhaps Nintendo focuses too much on the controller?

City of Villains

So, I got hold of the CoV 14-day trial. Wow. This game really.. sucks. Christ, it's the same things over and over again. Whack that guy, whack the other guy. Over and over and over and over and over.. again.
I do not recommend this game. Get something better (such as WoW, if you're into the MMO genre).

Peace.

Firefly

So, yesterday I watched Serenity. Really good movie. I can just say that Josh Whedon has outdone himself on this one.
I'm going to buy the first season on DVD. Since I'm from Sweden, I can't watch this on TV. We're still stuck on Buffy. Hehe.
Well, Firefly seems to be awsome, so I'm just going to sit here until the box is delivered. Mmm... 14 episodes.

Peace!

The nothingness that is me

Well, today I've done nothing. If you count out the visit to IKEA and the purchase of some new furniture to the basement. So, I'm just going to write some stuff. I löv writing.

So, E^3 is comming up. Really exciting for a sony-fan like myself, to see what they've got up their sleeves. Hopefully they've got a price, so that the speculations on the forums can stop.
And then we've got the revolution. Not very revolutionary if you ask me. A gyro-controlled console? Meh... Of course, playing Tetris could be fun. Very irritating though. Heh.
Microsucks then? Well, if it where up to me, they would burn in hell together with EA. (No, I'm not a fanboy, it's all just a part of my crusade against M$ and EA)

So.. at the moment Thåströms (a great songer from Sweden, been in bands such as Ebba Grön and Imperiet) song Om Black Jim is flowing through my speakers. Oh, now it changed to AFI - God called in sick today . Good times.

Oh, yeah. I turned into a vampire the other day, on Oblivion. It sucks. I was just camping out under the stars, minding my own buissnes, and I get bitten by a frikkin' vampire. Man.. gotta find that cure. I do like the stat bonuses though.

And remember;
"Fighting over religion is really damn stupid, because in the end your only fighting over who's got the best imaginary friend".
Take that christianity! You all oughta convert to the Pongism. Convert the heathens I tell you! Oh, System of A Down - Marmalade .

Anyways, I'll propably go play some Shadow of the Collossus now. I'm stuck. Poor me....

Peace!

More like Lara

So, I've been going around our wonderful city today (Malmo, Sweden), and I realised that there's a whole lot of Tomb Raider: Legend commercial going around. First off, the commercial is great, I mean, it focuses on her face, instead of her chest. Ok, yeah. The chest is there, atleast a part of it.. but you get me, don't you? Damn right.
Second, it's great that the publishers dare doing commercials like this (Except for EA, because EA and MS is the root to all evil on this planet). It might get more people involved in gaming.
Just the thoughts of the day,

Peace!

Thoughts on Oblivion

So, at this point I've been playing Oblivion for about.. 40 hours. The game runs surprisingly good on my computer (High-settings), so I haven't got any complaints about that.
The game itself is much cleaner than any other Elder Scrolls game. I mean, who haven't been pissed off at Morrowind's journal? I know I've been.
The system runs perfectly, it's easy to get what you want from the menu tabs, and the fact that it's been moved to the TAB-button instead of the rmb is just great.
The fights in the game is a masterpiece. Everything is fast, without being confusing. It's easy to take on multiple enemies without being fudged up, or dead, afterwards.

But, a couple of complaints. The third-person view. Yes, I know. "Oblivion is meant to be played in First-person". But why even use a third-person view in the first place?! It's almost like Bethseda deliberatly screwed everything about human physique in the third-person view, just to make the gamers go "WOW" about the first-person view. Oh, and it's not only the human physique they have screwed, they even went at the horses. Poor animals. They're lucky they aren't able to play the game, since it mocks their entire race.
And the AI of companions and monsters?! WTF. Why the heck do Imperial Watch guards question each other about what they're doing at that particular place?! And why do they find walls so damn fun?! Except when you use your bow, 'cus then they find the line of fire the greatest place to be. Sigh....
And enemy AI isn't very clever either. Example:
I'm competing in the arena. I summon a skeleton to fight for me, and run behind a pillar, and start shooting at my enemy. He just stands there, attacking my skeleton while my arrows sticks out of his ass, back and head. Not very clever at all.

Other than the above statemenst the game is great. I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Peace.

Oblivion this thursday.

I've waited with my purchase of Oblivion because at the release of a game like this, you can't get one serious review out of people. They're all like "Dude, this game's great. Dude", just cause it recently came out. But now, as the "WOOT!"ness has sunk, and I've read a couple of serious reviews (some of them actually was bad!), I've decided to buy this game.
Don't have time until thursday though, so I have to wait. Perhaps I'll play some more Morrowind, just to get a feel for just how much Oblivion has been updated. To the gameplay that is. I dont give a monkeys-ass about graphics. If the develepors put down half as much time in gameplay as in graphics, every game would be great. I'm not kidding you here. Every single one. Yes... even Barbie Horseback Riding.

Peace!
