I knew before I clicked on the article that ROTK was gonna be at the top. Countless hours with me and my friend playing as Aragorn and Gandalf when we were kids.
Most of the games on this list are pretty good. I really enjoyed Battle for Middle Earth.
I am actually glad to see GS didn't decide to give the game a pass and review the game based on what they hoped it would play like a week from now. 343 released the game on November 11th. Its very likely the game won't be playable until the middle of next week. If 343 was OK with releasing MCC in its current state, they should expect reviewers to base their reviews on what they had to work with.
Apparently charging full price for a half finished product is the new norm in the video game industry. Just goes to show how little respect developers have for the people purchasing their products.
That score is almost too generous. Half of the game does not work and the single player has several game breaking bugs. None of my games ever save. I have to play through an entire level or else i have to start from the beginning if i quit before the level ends.
343 knowingly released MCC in its current state and therefore the game should be reviewed as is.
I bought a PS4 day one and i would not recommend purchasing one atm if your goal is to play worthwhile exclusive software. Great machine, but no software to really back it up. That will change in 2015, but you might as well wait and see if it gets a price drop or a nice bundle down the line.
