@LukeWesty You really can't judge the game on videos or compare it to those games. Day Z is very realistic, being based on the Arma 2 engine and that's its appeal. It's very much a survival game where you start with nothing and guns, ammo, melee weapons are very rare.

Being basically a mod, it is amazing for all its restrictions, and I would highly recommend watching out for the official game the guy behind it is making.

And those terrible scores? That's "The War Z", which lied to everybody about features, was rushed beyond belief, is a pay to play game with the worst free to play model and ethics where you pay to win and is overall a terrible clone. It's giving Day Z a bad name to people like you who don't realise the difference. They are terrible people.

At skullfire, that's the censored version, making it nothing but an average BMXing game compared to what was to be. Also, at Ranabir, you're nto really helping the cause...
