Just read what was in store for the new titan expansion for Unreal Tournament 3, and it looks really interesting. Now I have the ps3 version of UT3, and back when I first heard that it wouldn't include split-screen, I almost canceled my pre-order. But I brought it anyway, played it for 2 weeks, and never came back... But it seems that the UT team at Epic has been working on a lot of new and free content, rather than just giving eachother piggy-back rides. The new free expansion includes two new game modes, two new turrets, some new power-ups and loads of new maps... But what's really interesting is that they will be adding split-screen and mod browser for the ps3 version of the game. I really think it's awesome to see the split-screen feature patched into the game, and I know that I will be playing this game with my friends now... Split-screen multiplayer isn't dead, and a very overlooked feature... It really a same since it's easier than ever to hook up a lot of controllers, with the wireless technology we have in this generation of consoles.. So props to Epic games!

wonder if anyone is playing this game online anymore?

Cursing... let's take a look at that, shall we?

I've allways been wondering who decided that some words should be "NO! BAD BOY!" words... If you think about it, the only reason cursing exists, is because someone though that these words should be "No no" words..

Take the F bomb for an example... The F word means sexual intercourse and if sex is a "No" thing, then how come sex isn't a curse word? Furthermore the word "F U" is considered an insult, which makes no sense if you look at the meaning.. Saying "F U" should actually almost be the same thing as saying "I want to have sex with you" which is a compliment... at least in the most cases..

Now another word like "Sh!t" is also considered a curse word.. Now sh!t means poo and pooping is probably one of the most natural things in the world... so why the hell is another word, with the exact same meaning considered a curse word? I mean I could say something like "I need to take a dump" and people wouldn't think much of it.. but if a change one word in that sentence, which doesn't change the meaning, it's all of the sudden considered a curse word...

People should be allowed to say what they want, without it being considered a bad word... If words like the F bomb and sh!t was just used in normal talk, it wouldn't be a big deal.. and immature kids wouldn't be spamming the forums and chats with them.. since they are just normal word....

So to the guy who decided that some words should be bad.... You're a butthole!

Anyway I brought Saints Row 2 the other day, and so far I like it alot... It's crazy and totally stupid.. which is freggin awesome..

Not so much to report I guess... Guess we'll all be seeing each-other when LBP comes out.. so see ya then!

Time for an update!
So I went through quite some surprises this month, so let's start at the start of this month.

It was my first work day after the summer holidays, but since im at school atm, it was more like my first school day... So anyway after a couple of hours of brain torture, I finally got home and suddenly the postman showed up with a package for me(Oh what joy). So i opened up the package and volia! There it was.. The Nintendo Wii.

So I quickly hooked up the Wii to my Tv, and turned it on. After setting the system to "HD"(480p!!! HOLY S**T!!), I was ready to pop the smash hit game, "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" in the machine. So I started to play the game and the single player campaign, and it was fun for about and hour, but we'll get to that later.. So after 2 hour of brawl madness, I turned the console off...

So after an hour or so, I returned to play the darn thing again... and guess what.. It totally stopped working... It wouldn't eject the damn disc, nor would it read it... So I packed it back in, and sent it to the store where I brought it...

A week pasted and I got it back, and this time it's working(so far).. So I wanted to try the Virtual Console, so I downloaded, the klassic super mario brothers... So I start up the game, and guess what.. I get a black screen.. so I look in the manual, and there's nothing about this problem. Weird, but as always google never fails, and I learn that if you press a certain button combo, and it will activate interlaced mode.. now why wouldn't the manual tell me that? And it get's worse... After I downloaded a couple of other titles I got the same problem with "Comix Zone" and It seems that interlaced mode hasn't been added to that game... now that's just great isn't it...

Another bad thing was, that I thought that I would finally be able to play "The Twin Snakes" but yet again the Wii failed me... First I found out that I need an orginal gamecube controller to play a gamecube game.. you can't even use the klassic controller... after I got my hand on a pretty bad one from Gamestop, I learned that I also needed a original gamecube memory card... you can't just use the internal memory... And don't get me started on the gamecube controller? what the hell is up that crappy design...

So I went back to brawl to play the singleplayer campaign.. and guess what.. after one hour it goes from campaign to camPAIN! It's really poo that you have to unlock all the chars. for a multiplayer focused game...

But once you get over that and get to the multiplayer, it's really, really good.. and Wii Sports is a heck of fun to play with you friends... so all in all the Wii is a gaming console meant to be played with others!

It's a game! It's a movie! It's a freggin Masterpiece! Im of course talking about the greatness the shined upon the world on June 12... Metal Gear Solid 4...


So yeah Metal Gear Solid 4 is... the perfect game for any Metal gear fan... It's shines and sparks in pure aweness... I really could say a lot of more things about MGS 4, but im just gonna leave it with this: "If you are a Metal Gear fan or Own a ps3... you need to play this game!"


So I've only just touched the first Broken Sword game, which I figured, I needed to play, since I've enjoyed 3 and 4. But I stopped playing it because MGS 4 came out, the day after I started playing it. So with MGS 4 finished, im gonna complete this one now...

Also I felt the need to get back to some grind madness in World of Wankers... So I've paid for a month, and im gonna see how that turns out, since WoW is a game I play in periods... So maybe I'll spend some months (and cash) playing that....

So that's about what im doing atm... Summer holidays starts for me next week, so that's totally gonna rock.
