Hello everyone. I just got a DS and I love it so far ^_^ Anyway, I got interested in Pokemon again, the last time I played was during Pokemon Crystal release, so a good 10 years ago? What do you suggest me to pick up now? Platinum, HG, SS, or even an older version like Emerald? Although I did play "normal" Gold and Crystal versions, I don't remember anything from them, it would be like a new game to me - 10 years is a long time. So the "You already played HG and SS" comments can be thrown away. Which was the most fun for you? Most challenging? Most entertaining? Thanks for help. =)

Hey, sorry for bumping an old topic, but I found it while googling for "First NDS Lite charge". I got a question. I just bought a new DS Lite myself. What do you suggest for the very first charge? How long should I charge it? The manual says 3 hours only. Would it affect (in a positive way) if I charged it more, like 10-12 hours? Thanks for any helpful comment, I really appreciate it !

Don't think so to be honest, I bought my DS Lite like 2-3 hours ago, and everything is smooth as butter.

[QUOTE="CyberKlown28"]Ds Lite is 40 dollars cheaper. its simply gba games vs dsiware games. research both of these tpyes of games, see if you like anything. if you like gba games more, or don't like any of each, ds lite is for you. dsi is for you if you are itnerested in some dsiware games.

Hmmm, what's the deal with Nintendo DSi points? How do you get them?

Thanks for the input from both. Heirren, why did you need to buy a second DS Lite? Was the old broken or something? Cheinei, I said I don't need all this stuff. I got an iPod for music, my laptop for internet, my mobile phone and camera for pictures. Only thing that bugs me is the exclusive DSi only games. Otherwise, don't think I will miss out anything else, right? Well, I think I made my decision. I will go with the Lite version. Thanks everyone. (Still open for comments, going to buy it in about 20h so there is still time to talk and convince me if I should grab the DSi, or if the Lite is the better option.)

Seriously?

Lite or Phat...take your pick since the DSI is definetly not for you

bisonfan2010
Yes, seriously. Well to sum it all up, this is basicly what I would like to know: Also, are there any other features the DSi has that the Lite doesn't? I know for the exclusive games and the "Don't need" stuff above. Is there anything else I would miss out? Anything important?

Hello everyone, this is my first post here. Lately I quit playing WoW and got interested in NDS. I never had one before. The system I own is GameBoy Color. Yeah, lol. I saved up money to buy a DS but I really can't decide which one. Here is a quick list for what I want and don't want to be able to do with my DS: I want: - to play games, obviously (The GBA slot for the Lite doesn't matter THAT much.); - quality of battery, screen resolution, hindge ... Basicly anything should work fine with no need to send the game system someone to repair; Don't want / need: - browsing the internet, - a digital camera, - random "fun" stuff, like changing voice or something; DSi XL is NOT an option since I travel a lot. Yes I did read the DS Lite vs. the DSi threat, but I still can't decide. I hope someone can reply with a nice suggestion what would be better suited for me. Also, are there any other features the DSi has that the Lite doesn't? I know for the exclusive games and the "Don't need" stuff above. Is there anything else I would miss out? Anything important? Well, thanks for reading. Sorry for my grammar mistakes, I live in a country where english is not even in school.
