It's in the bottom right corner. It worked fine for me. Oh and be prepared for a huge boss battle once you rub it off. It's Princess Shroob's sidekick.
Are you looking in first person? I you're not then do so but if you are, maybe try walking to a different spot on the little sun sign on the floor.
