Too ill to play...

I just took a whole day off due to feeling terribly ill, I think I may have the flu :( I would be playing games right now but whenever I try I just feel dizzy. I have pretty much slept all day but now I am finding it too hard to close my eyes, dam my chest hurts, the only thing I have been able to do is look at the internet on my laptop and watch TV.

Anyways, Mass Effect 2 will have to wait until Im better.... it doesn't seem like that will be soon

I Got Mass Effect 2!

Ok, a few days ago, I got one of the best RPG Shooters ever made, Mass Effect 2. Created by the legendary Bioware, Shepard finds himself now a member of Cerberus, aboard a new ship, and in need of a new crew. So far, I am almost completely addicted to the wonderful world of Mass Effect 2... I should be playing now. The game allows you to import your custom made Mass Effect 1 character so it does feel like, my Shepard (Not yours!) is on his most dangerous method yet as he does his best to learn about the collectors under command of the "Illusive Man".

Your Boss...Kinda

This seems like the first game to actually stay true to the word "Sequel". Most of the actions you made in Mass Effect 1 (If you imported a character, which I advise) will be seen in this game, from people you helped, the survivors, to the two years late thank you messages :P. Without revealing any spoilers, all I can say is that playing through Mass Effect 1 makes Mass Effect 2 twice as good.

(I'm back!)

Gameplay has improved a lot, same for graphics and sound (Like ). As for the RPG elements, there have been many changes to the system and many things removed. for example, there is now no level system, and there are no different weapon types, armour, shields etc. (In terms of stats). Instead you get skill points over time, like in the original game which you can spend on your powers, guns have a set amount of damage but can be updgraded, and your Shepard's armour can be customised the way you want it to be... which will also give you boosts.

Final Comments, I wouldn't be surprised if this game gets GOTY... too bad it came out in January, when was the last time a game from January won GOTY :?

Thats it for now, I said I was playing Final Fantasy VI... well I think I have almost completed it but I have to grind :( as I need to build a team strong in magic to get the old man back (cant remember his name after playing ME2). I am also writing this wit google chrome, thought I would give firefox and break and check it out. So far my experience with it has been pretty negative, it seems to be fast at doing commands but it isn't great at loading multiple pages, however it is good at running multiple tasks (E.g. music doesn't slow down on youtube when you load other pages).

Sorry for the large images, they are too big because Google Chrome isn't GS friendly, it seems to not like smileys and doesn't allow me to resize images. Oh, and terrible Google Chrome wont let me align these paragraphs to the left :@

Back and Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry...

Ok..
Guess who's back?
Back again
Flipyap's back
Tell a friend
Whaaaaaaaa

I think I have done this three times now, say I am back, the leave again. Well anyway, this TIME, YES, THIS TIME I will try and stay, and hopefully get back into everyones goods books.... cause seriously, I must be forgotton about or fed up of, oh god, Flipyaps back again

But anyways; **** it, what's been up? Man (and girls) how's your lives going?

Ok, enough of the weirdness, I really dont know how to start these things anymore, I suppose I should start with this wonderful game:

All I have to say is, this game is pretty awesome, and I dont think its long before I go and kick that clown in.

Ok well Im going to keep this short for today, I will TRY to keep active on GS, I will really TRY.

P.S Special message to whoever works out the little...um...riddle... in this blog

So I decided to come back...

Yeah, I decided to come back before the new year. Well um, how do I do this again....ummmm well Im back :D

I havent got much since Fallout 3 apart from tekken 6 and most recently Borderlands and Halo ODST which are both awesome.

So yeah, Im back!

1k in RE5 and Finally got Fallout 3!

Finnaly, I feel up to doing a blog post since I have been doing a lot of gaming lately. So where to start...

Well first of all, thanks to everyone who voted in the last few weeks for either Ratchet & Clank 2 or Bully. It was a very close battle which had 2 draws (thats why I had to keep asking you guys for more votes !) which ended with Bully finally winning by only 2 votes.

This means that when I complete Kingdom Heart, Bully will be my next PS2 game (but with my new 360 games I probably wont play it that much). Talking about Kingdom Hearts, I just completed the Hades cup and am now making final preperations before I take my level 60 Sora to the end of the world, I tried taking out Sephiroth but....damn, he is hard. Anyway, I should be done with kingdom Hearts soon.

Another piece of good news for me is that I 1kd Resident Evil 5 :) I got all the achievements (excluding DLC). The game is pretty good and I have owned for around a month but I never really felt like blogging about it. I have kind of given up (LP!) on Phoneix Wright 2, I dont know why but... with all these console games to play.

As for what I am going to play now, Fallout 3. I loved Oblivion, loved it so much I got all achievements, went and got the DLC, and got all the achievements in that aswell so I really wanted to try Fallout 3...since I love shooters aswell (actually I pretty much love all game genres) :D. I have only played about two hours so far but... all I can say is that, I love it. Everything about it is just so....cool, when doing quests you get the feel of playing a FPS but you also know that really, you are in a world as big as oblivion where I can abondon my team mates and run far, far away.

So, I am not really sure what to say about Fallout 3 other than its great. I cant wait to get the dog  (I know some of you, dont like dogs) For any of you Fallout veterans out there, should I stick to playing on normal right now. I haven't died yet but I have almost on several occasions.... As for the rumoured bugs (more common in the PS3 version) even though I did install the game it froze at one point forcing me to reset my 360, Luckily I had an autosave... oh well, this has happened in Oblivion before.

So thats it for now, I would also like to thank everyone who gave support in my last blog ;) Anyway, bye for now

Lame....

Please vote for either Ratchet & Clank 2 or Bully?

I am not in the mood to live right now so that is all.

Need your help again, and any good design unions?

A quick update, one is a vote.

Well Bully got 4 votes and so did Ratchet & Clank 2. So please vote for which game you think I should play next. Some facts about what I feel like after playing a load of JRPGs.

- Something easy which isn't frustrating.
- Something with a kind of linear/straight foward story/campaign as in not getting lost, getting stuck on puzzles and having to resort to FAQs/Guides
- Not many complicated puzzles (like I said above). I like to play games and relax. I dont feel up to doing any math problems
- Not too long, replayability is fine. But a game which gets really long and just gets harder and harder will just make me bored.

So please vote for either Ratchet & Clank 2 or Bully: Canis Canen edit

And last of all, does anyone know any good design unions I can join?

New theme!!!

So I decided to have an image change! I have been quite bored with Gamspot lately so I decided to have a new theme based on Donald Duck from Kingdom Hearts/Disney. I haven't played much of Kingdom Hearts lately but I will eventually complete it. Check my signature out below!

Is this image too big, it wont appear in my sig...

Anyway, ignore what I said in my last blog about leaving because I probably wont...its just well GS can be really dull sometimes... suppose I am getting bored of unions, blogging etc...

My first blog in ages... and I need your help!

First of all... sorry everyone. I haven't posted in enough of your blogs and I haven't been blogging much lately... so here is my first blog since that really short one. Yeah, so first of all, I am back as you may or not already know. I came back from Barcelona and it was very good/ very hot...

Now for gaming. Well I played a lot of Phoenix Wright Justice For All while on holiday, I got to the last case before quitting due to boredom once I got back... if I was still away I probably would of completed it as I play a lot of handheld games while waiting to go out when on holiday but now I am back, and I dont really feel like playing DS. Still... since it such a great game, I gave it a score of 9.0 since it is still one my favourite DS series.

Ok, so I get back and I feel that I need a new game, preferably a shooter. I ended up getting a really good deal on resident evil 5 for the 360, and all I can say about it is one word; awesome. Since then, I must have played through it like 4 times. I did have a few problems with it though... the main one being that Sheva can sometimes annoy me due to her AI. However I do think I might be over reacting because I am trying to 1k it ifor the achievements. So far, all I have left to do is; get all treasures, buy all weapons, upgrade all weapons, get and score 30 kills with the longbow, and complete it on professional mode. That isn't much but going through professional mode might be a pain... oh well, it looks like I will have to get out my veteran friend, the unlimited Rocket Launcher (It is not a cheat, its an award ;)). Well thats kept me occupied since I came back.

Ok, now is where I need your help. Well I have almost completed Kingdom Hearts and now I want to decide out of my PS2 collection what to play next. I dont want to get into another RPG... they are boring me lately probably because of all the frustrating times I had with Kingdom Hearts :?.

So here are the games I am considering to play:

Bully: Canis Canen Edit

Well I haven't played a sandbox game since GTAIV and all I have heard is good things about this, this will also be one of the many few sandbox games I have played which isn't GTA. For those of you who don't know, a sandbox game is where you are put into a big area where you can kind of do what you like, kind of like how in GTA you can drive around and take the missions you want, probably the most non-linear type of games next to simulations. Well... in Bully you play as a teenager who has to go to a boarding school thanks to his horrible mother going on a year cruise... obviously being the new kid you get bullied and you have to stand up to them, gain their respect, become a bully, or even bully the bullies themselves. You can kind of think of this game like the younger version of GTA (although the age rating is only slightly lower .). Basically, its a type of game I haven't really played before, you do the missions, get the girls, become respected, get through school... shouldn't I be doing this in real life ( and no I dont have bullies... but neither the girls....)

Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando

This will be my first platformer in a while, not only that but my first ratchet and clank game (which I own and play through). All I have really heard about this game is good things, a series I have been missing out on and from the looks of things probably better than Mario. Little things appeal to me when choosing games to buy/play and one of those pointless little things is traveling... especially when it involves having your own kind of ship or something with fire power so going around the galaxy appeals to me kind of... and yes, I do like the gummi ships in Kingdom Hearts, I have even created some nice looking ships in it. Well besides being a series I need to check out, being of a genre I dont really play enough of, and having a galaxy to explore... any other reasons I should choose this?

Jak II: Renegade

Another great platformer, highest review score of the alot and something else very appealing. Take Ratchet and Clank, the really good platformer I want to play and Bully the great sandbox game... put them together and you get some odd child quite like its cousin Jak II: Renegade, a great platformer different from Ratchet & Clank but also with a sandbox city like the ones in GTA or Bully. What I am trying to say is, it has two of the qualities of both but is completely different however... there is something pretty appealing about this game... the skateboard; going around the city on a skate board can't be more fun, huh? :D (does bully have one...). The game is still very platform-like though, you dont take missions around the city, instead you have them set in different places unlike games like GTA. Is this platformer going to be the game I play next?

Wow  what a long blog... Vote away I suppose...

.... I am getting very bored of Gamespot, I cant believe I managed to write that blog. I dont know why but Gamespot is becoming very dull for me so sorry if I dont post in your blogs/unions as often as I should (tbh I just cba)... Well, I dont know when I will quit gamespot but at this rate, I might leave soon...
