However, the Bears no longer have anything to play for, as they have locked up the #1 seed in the NFC. The Packers need a win to keep their slight playoff hopes alive and I think Favre can pull out a W against Chicago's scrubs. 9-4 in this category. Mortal Lock of the Week: The Jets will secure a playoff spot with a win over the hapless Raiders. 9-5 in this category. Colts Update: What a sobering last few weeks it has been for this Colts fan. From 9-0 with a strong foothold on the #1 seed in the AFC to 11-4 and looking like they will have to host a Wild Card game in the first round of the playoffs. For the Colts it has boiled down to this: Manning and the offense must be perfect, no turn-overs and they must score nearly every time they have the ball. The defense cannot be relied upon at all, regardless of their opponents starting field position. Defensive stops have become a thing of the past with the Colts and their Super Bowl chances look very grim.
