NFL Week Eight Picks

If anyone would like to join in the fun, you are more than welcome. Should you decide to make any picks for the week, simply PM them to me, clearly identifying the game(s) and who you think will win each one. You do not have to pick every game for that particular week, nor do you have to pick games every week. Every Wednesday following a weekend of NFL games I will post my own results as well as everyone else's. I'll also be keeping a running record of my season totals as well as anyone else that should happen to pick games for more than one week. There are no prizes, this is simply for pride and maybe a little bragging rights. If you want to make picks and want to see your name posted here, all you have to do is PM me your winning NFL picks. The only rule is that any games you pick must be PM'd to me before they kickoff. Pretty simple.
Week 7 Results Season Results Cubtracker (11-3) Cubtracker (66-37) .641 FlyingHellfish (9-5) meatboys (16-11) .593 meatboys (9-5) FlyingHellfish (61-42) .592 orangemann327 (9-5) orangemann327 (46-44) .511 -------------------- simpsons26 (7-7) .500
Cubtracker gained a couple games on me, meatboys has me edged out by a mere percentage point and orangemann327 claws his way back to .500. Week 8 Picks (Winners in Bold) Browns @ Rams Lions @ Bears Colts @ Panthers Giants vs. Dolphins Raiders @ Titans Eagles @ Vikings Steelers @ Bengals Bills @ Jets Texans @ Chargers Jaguars @ Buccaneers Saints @ 49ers Redskins @ Patriots Packers @ Broncos Mortal Lock of the Week (4-0) I don't think it would be fair to pick on the Dolphins two weeks in a row, so I'll go with Chargers over Texans. Upset of the Week (1-3) Finally got one right last week, albeit an easy one, (Chiefs over Raiders) but hey, I'll take it. Monday night the Packers are 3 point road dogs in the Mile High city. Despite Denver's 3rd last second field goal win of the season over a good Steelers team last week, I still don't have much faith in this team and I expect the Packers and Favre to shine on the national stage after a bye week.
