I've seen on a few sites now where users have "reviewed" games based solely on the multiplayer content of those games. I hope that some people who do that here on Gamespot read this. Why? So that they may realize that they've been treating games unfairly for a long time. Case in point - Homefront. I read a user review (I will not say who it was) who only talked about how bad the multiplayer was. People who only focus on multiplayer, whether it's good or not, don't represent how a game is or isn't. All that that user said was how bad the multiplayer was and didn't mention the single player campaign once. Since reading that, I've gone through other games and looked at those user reviews. Too many people rate a game based solely on this one aspect! And the bad thing is that people hit the "I agree" icon and this can be used to turn people away from a game that they may truly enjoy.
I guess that what I'm trying to say is that users on sites like this are too quick to say that a game is bad based on one part of it. Also, there's no problem in reading reviews, but you should ultimately make the decision for yourself on whether or not a game is good.
