That's all I have to say.

So, my fishy died yesterday morning. Grissom got this disease thing where the back stays curved and it won't bend back straight. He couldn't eat or swim.

*bangs head on desk*

We show up at the school, and... it's poring. So of course I was wearing an off-white shirt. And we had to run through the field show before the performance, so, yeah. I decided that see-through shirts were a new fashion statement. At least I wasn't like my friend Katie who was wearing an neon yellow shirt with a black bra. Then we went inside and spread our flags all over the guard room to attempt to dry them.

The actual performance didn't go too bad. It stopped raining before we went outside. The western song went well, but as I got to my spot for the Jazz section and bent down along with everyone else, I realised there wasn't a red ring in my place. We all stand up and I look down the line while dancing without a ring. There's a gold one ten yards down. Katie, one of the captains, was the second person to my side and she told me to run for it.
So I did. The whole band is in a standstill and I ran like a madwoman to grab the gold, not red, ring. A former guard member, Ali, was cheering me on as I ran.Everything else was fine, except we made Olympic rings, and mine was all red, we have red uniforms, and I had a bright gold one. Then it started poring again. And we had to leave.
I decided to get a hot dog and water. With a twenty. I forgot to get the change, and, well, I guess I gave them a sixteen dollar tip. Then I went inside completely drenched. I don't know what the ending score was, since we didn't last long, but we were up 19 to 13 when we left.

Last night I was wearing a shirt I decorated myself with sharpie to bed. I look in the mirror and decide the shirt was inside out. It wasn't until after I took it off and flipped it that I remembered words are reversed in the mirror. Since I haven't blogged in a while I thought I'd share that.

I've spent the past 4 days inBAND CAMP! It's been a lot of fun. Our field show theme this year is 'Music of America' to get ready for our Olympic preformance next summer. The first song is a western style song but I have no idea what it's called. In one of our sets we make a cowboy hat, I guess. I never saw it. Then is our Jazz selection with a combined 'Swing Swing Swing' and 'It don't mean a thing' and then is Rock: 'Carry on Wayward Son' We make the olympic rings and the people walk around in a circle in each of them so the rings move. I'm so excited the Guard is awesome this year and we're going to do great!

Yeah, so I decided to do a quick check on tv.com today before I resumed reading HP. I was in Boston all day yesterday and didn't get a chance to finish it yet.

Although Boston was fun, I think my feet will fall off. Blisters. But wegot to go for a really nice appetizer lunch and dinner and Blue Man Group for $25 because the church funded the rest. I think I walked like 4 miles. But I have my Dora the Explorer Band-Aids on, so that makes it better:P

AND the Museum of Science is having a CSI thingy opening in late September!!! I'm so excited, but I haven't looked up the details yet, I only saw the poster. It's like a season 8 present!:D:D:D

I saw the new Harry Potter movie last night, and it was excellent!!!! It kicks the Goblet of Fire's assbigtime. The good things about the movie was [spoiler] I felt Luna was perfect, they changed the way the communication with the fireplaces works, so now there is a face literally in the flames instead of the charchoal. Gawrp was so cute! I'm so glad they didn't cut him out, although he never said "Hermy". The opening was amazing in itself, the dementors make you jump ten feet in the air. [/spoiler]

There was few minor bad things. [spoiler] They cut out a lot of Grimmauld Place, probably only to shorten the movie. You don't see much of anyone fighting in the ministry after the first five minutes of the battle except for Harry and Dumbledore. The fountain statues don't come alive, only one detention is shown, no gold coins, Sirius' mirror isn't there, Harry and Cho make out for like 5 minutes,and Sirius gets hit by the killing spell before he falls into the veil. Harry never destroys Dumbledore's office, but that saves a lot of really bad crying on Daniel Radcliffe's part. [/spoiler]

The whole movie was amazing. [spoiler] The effects, action, Dudley grew so much since he was last seen, which fits the book description perfectly. The DA meetings seemed really cool also. For fittting a book that large into a movie a little over 2 hours, they did a very good job. The las movie definately looked pathetic compared to this one. [/spoiler]
