Are you serious? Comparing a game with a whole genre (fps or fpgame lol. I agree with you about sports games) with PLENTY of amazing games. Come on.... the second Infamous and Second Son also were repetitive to me. I didn't play the first one.

Forza 4 did this with the original Kinect and it worked pretty well. It's not like you're turning your entire head ALL the way to a certain direction.

Even the slightest movement can make a big impact, and there is also a sesitivitey adjutment bar.
