does 400 Million in sales in the FIRST week of launch mean anything? this game is going to have a HUGE community. No one should compare games, but in my personal opinion, GTA IV will be on top of sales, and players online in a couple of months no problem. That is a huge amount of money in the first week. just imagine a couple months down the road what amount that could be.dswiderski
Gears>Halo3>COD4 I owned all three of them at the same time, played each of them much more then i probably should of, and i have to say cod gets old the fastest, halo 3 was getting boring until DLC came out, those new maps really breathed life into an otherwise dulling game, gears is just amazing IMO if they add matchmaking in G2 i might cry for joy. Long story short i think Halo 3 is great but people seem to like cod 4 better for whatever reasonPyroPice
Halo 3 is enjoyable. It's a pleasant game. However, I find Gears of War more gratifying. :)
i dont understand why everyone is bashing halo3. making halo 3 vs cod4 comparisons (and halo 3 vs any other game with a gun comparison), i played (and still play) halo 3, and its awesome. People say they dont like it cause it changed too little or too much from halo 2. My experience is that it is halo 2 multiplayer with new equipment (guns/vehicles/equipment), and better graphics. I loved the halo 2 multiplayer, and this just takes the halo 2 multiplayer and makes it better, albeit some maps in halo 3 are pretty lame (sandtrap... wtf is up with that...), others are awesome ( last resort ftw) .
Other complaints i heard was that too many noobs are in halo 3.. and first off this is a problem with the community and not the game itself, and second if you dont like mic spam just mute or turn off voice completley.
Can anyone shed some light on why halo 3 is REALLY being bashed by people online, and even most people i know?
