I have always been a Playstation guy. I remember the long summer hours I worked to save up the $700 I needed to buy the first PS at launch, and how satisfying that game console was. I loved my SNES and Genesis, but the PS felt right. Then, over the years the N64 and the DC caught my eye, and ultimately the Xbox landed firmly in my living room. I skipped the PS2, for whatever reasons (going through nursing school, having a family, whatever) and got a X360 at launch. All the while, missing my PS. When Sony announced a new PS3, the world stopped for me, until it announced it would cost $700. I had yet to buy one, until this week. I picked up my slim, 120gb gaming goddess and let me just say, why did I wait? WHY!? For all you who have had your PS3's since launch, I envy you. I've had my Halo 3 parties, and my Mass Effect fun time, but this machine is a beast! And the blu-ray, oh the blu-ray! I'm playing through old 10/10 titles now like MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet. Life is good right now, just in time for FF13 on it's home system.
