I've been thinking about this for a long time, without being able to figure it out, and it's been bothering me like hell. Hopefully any of you can be of assistance...

Many years ago (at least ten, most probably more) I played a PC game. It was a kind of real-time strategy game, I think, set in present day (with modern vehicles and buildings and such). The perspektive of the game was the same as other games in that genre, i.e Age of Empires, Civilization etc.

As far as I can remember, the game was played in "matches" of some kind, where the objective was to destroy the enemy's vehicles and buildings. However, you only had control over one vehicle, which would respawn when destroyed. And when you respawned, you had the option to change to another type of vechicle. For example, you could switch from a tank to a motorcycle, which could drop landmines. In multiplayer, the two human-controlled vehicles where pitted against each other, with defensive structures and such being computer-controlled.

There were two features in particular with this game that I remember extra well. First of all, one of the playable maps had the exact shape and proportions of Japan, although much, much smaller. You could drive from one end of the map to the other within half a minute or so (the maps weren't bigger than that, as far as I can remember). Secondly, the in-game music featured Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries".

Does anybody recognize this?

I don't quite remember if you can actualy look it up... i am too used to be a gm mode in nhl 10 at the moment..

What i did in 09 be a pro was just sim up to a date really far away, then my player would be placed on waivers and picked up by a new team. (only if i got bored with my current team):D

Joshywaa

Been there, done that, got the shirt. :P I played for the Rangers the first season, then I got bored and signed for Pitttsburgh as a free agent. Then I got bored again and simmed until I got traded... to Washington. Yay...

But I don't really feel like getting traded by simming a second time this season. So either I'll do it again next season or sign for another team when my contract expires. That's why I'm interested in finding out when it expires, since I can't remember if I signed a two-year or three-year contract with Pittsburgh.

In Be A Pro mode, is there any way I can view the length of my current contract? I'm on my second season and would just like to know if I have one or two more seasons to go before my contract expires.

The original Marvel Ultimate Alliance had a feature where you could pick characters to form specific teams. For example, you could pick Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man and Wolverine and form the New Avengers, and then you would get a team bonus. I don't remember exactly what these bonuses where, but I think you could get +1 damage and things like that.

What I'm wondering is, do they have that feature in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2?
