Overrated:
Borderlands: The game was great at first, looting areas, finding different guns. It just becomes repetitive, the map is large, but it's quite empty, and traveling is not fun, and there may be 1 bazillion guns, the fact that 90% of them are disposable pieces of garbage isn't good.
Grand Theft Auto IV: It is a great game, there is a lot of freedom, graphics were good, the multiplayer was a great new addition. It took it's self wat too seriously, and tried to be too realistic. Lets not forget It's a video game, I don't want to go on bowling dates, and have A.I. characters, "call me up for a drink."
Underrated:
Uncharted Drakes Fortune: The game was outstanding. It was literally like watching a 8-10 hour action movie. It was a new game, the overall "theme" (treasure hunter) wasn't overly original, but it did many many things, including setting the bar for graphics, having very likable characters, a great story, pacing was great, and the "action movie feel" was something that we had never had before like it. The gameplay was good, not great, but it was fun, and the animations were top notch. It set many bars on a technical level alone, and it also had a lot of heart.
LittleBigPlanet 2: Sure, it has gotten amazing review from everywhere. However, why does everyone forget that it came out in 2011, when it didn't get nominated for ANY awards from anywhere. (I don't think)
