FoxyAreku Blog

woot!

Haven't posted here in a long time.

Been addicted to playing on the RE: Outbreak japanese servers.

I'll be graduating high school in about 2 weeks, then I'm moving to fort worth to live with my mom for awhile. Should be fun, I hope.

Spring Break this week

Yep, it's Spring Break.

I'm not really doing anything special or have anything planned, but I'm still enjoying the time off from school.

Some interesting Furry Facts

I found this on wikipedia, it's the result of a big survey and I thought it was very interesting. Thought all of you would enjoy it too.

The Sociology of Furry Fandom, a survey conducted by David J. Rust which examined social and sexual attitudes in furry fandom, encompassed interviews of 360 respondents (325 in person, 35 online). Rust's results indicated that in regards to sex:

furries "report a rather non-judgmental attitude" to some aspects of sexuality

the fandom contains a large proportion of people reporting homosexuality, bisexuality, polyamory
, or other non-traditional forms of relationship

48% reported bisexuality, 25% reported heterosexuality, 19% were homosexual, and 8% were uncertain. From this sample, 2% stated an interest in zoophilia, (see that trolls? 2%!!! Stop pairing all furs with that crap!!) and fewer than 1% stated an interest in plushophilia

furries have "a higher tolerance for variety in sexual orientation and activity" (Obviously >_>)

heterosexual furries "participate in mixed-gender social body language between members of the same sex without any apparent threat to their sexual identity" (which is awesome ^_^)

most respondants (82%) do not own a fursuit

42% attended conventions

a third attended parties

around half engaged in furry-related Internet friendships, chat rooms, and blogging

The sample group consisted of predominantly white (89%) and "American" (83%), males (81%), with "student" the most frequent occupation (38%). Nearly all respondants (90%) reported earning less than $50,000 per year.

Politically, 40% of respondents described themselves as "Liberal" or "Very liberal", contrasting with 7% who were "Conservative," or "Very conservative". 35% were "Not political" or "Other", and 16% were "Moderate".

So there you have it, what are all your thoughts on this?

Yeah, Brawl coming out soon, you know the drill

This is probably the one thousand and eleventy seventh blog about Brawl's release, but oh well.

Can't wait for it to come out, can't wait to meet all of you online and duke it out, can't wait to try all the new characters.

Hope the game is really as good as the reviews have said.

Stuff received

My boyfriend sent me a vase with 3 white roses in it for Valentines Day. It made me really happy. ^_^
I sent him a small bouquet with some red roses and one white one.

I also recieved my copy of "Biohazard Outbreak", now I just need "Biohazard Outbreak File 2" and a Japanese PS2. I'm one step closer to playing on the japanese servers and once again enjoying my favorite online game of all time!

And I'm apparently a level 4 paper boy now.
