I'm sorry but it just seems that the overall direction of the gaming industry has a huge lean on reviewers and that alot of reviewers seem to be corrupt (i.e Gametrailers, IGN, Destructoid) I mean, game reviewers are getting paid to give a higher score to games when they don't deserve it. This is why I usually pay attention to smaller gaming companies rather than the big ones. Am I the only one who thinks this?

The VGAs never make sense the awards usually go out to overrated, over hyped games

Still waiting for the proper disc release of Sonic 4, so I can't comment on that.

Sonic All Star Racing was surprisingly really good. I was expecting a cheap cash-in type game, or something along the lines of Sonic Riders.

As for Sonic Colors, I really can't comment in that just yet either. I got it day of release, but I've only played the first three acts of the first stage so far. I'm just so hooked to Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 right now that I can't bare to pull myself away from it long enough to give Colors a proper playthrough just yet. :(

You'll enjoy it when you finally pick it up. Trust me.

Sonic Colours + Sonic 4 = Yes.

Well I wouldn't really say that for Sonic 4, I mean the game does stand up on it's own, but as Sonic 4...?

Well it seems that Sonic has had a pretty good year in 2010, with the suprisingly good Sonic and Sega Allstars Racing, Sonic, and with Sonic Colors, which won IGN's Best Quick Fix of 2010 and was nominated for Coolest Atmosphere and Best Graphics. It also got an 8/10 from Gamspot, 4 out of 5 stars from Joystiq, Kotaku, and 1UP, a 7 out of 10 from Wired, and an 86% from NGamer, leaving it with a77 from Metacritic, and a 78 from GameRankings. In an interview with Spong, Takashi Iizuka, head of Sonic Team, said that he wants more Sonic games to have the same kind of simple and colorful feel Sonic Colors had. So was 2010 a UTurn for the speedy blue blur?
