No I dont think so. Not at all. Most of the reviewers are very old-fashioned and they seem to choose gameplay over graphics. If you notice, they hardly ever talk about graphics at all. Me being a graphics junkie, I always look for it in reviews but I always end up getting short-changed because they never go into detail about graphics.

Personally, graphics are just as important as gameplay. We're in the generation where we're starting to see a huge overhaul of graphics ala Gears of War, Crysis, Far Cry 2, etc. I will never understand it when people complain why graphics aren't so important. Of course they are. How can it not be? It's really annoying to hear that. And stop thinking that people who enjoy beautiful graphics dont care about gameplay, story, dialogue and everything else. Personally, I look for that nearly perfect game. Great graphics, script, story, characters, the whole nine yards. Sure, graphics aren't everything but it is certainly a huge part of it.

This has to be the most educated post I've read in this topic.

Hey guys! :)

Um it seems that 'Sword Of The Samurai' on PS2 is missing from the entire GS database. I can find 'Way of the Samuai' and its sequel but the missing game I'm talking about was developed by a company called 'Genki'.

Name: Sword of the Samurai

Format: PS2

Publisher: Ubisoft

Developer: Genki

Genre/Type: Hack 'n' Slash/ Action (Samurai)

Hope thats enough info.. :)

As a handheld I'd say its still doing fine. It came out way back in 2001 if I can remember but even though its just movie cash ins and classic Final Fantasy ports now there are still a few decent games coming out for it. TMNT is a great side scroller which I recently played for the GBA and I've just started playing the Kindgom Hearts game too.

Personally I don't really like any of Nintendo's home consoles (due to lack of non-good mascot games) but I've always enjoyed the handheld series and do hope to see more swan songs for the GBA.

Hi. Could any of you guys be so kind as to inform me exactly of which PS2 online games generally have a good community? Its just that I recently got my PS2 online and I'm looknig for a decent game to boot.

Things that I should make aware are:

1) I already have Killzone but I have some serious errors connecting to the online server. Sometimes it gets though, sometimes it doesn't and I'm having trouble sorting it out. I have only been able to get into one online match successfully. Also I had to delete that freaking 3MB update file. It was wasting too much space on my memory card.:x

2) Monster Hunter is coming through the post soon so I'll test that out when I get it.

3) Both Jak X and Rachet Gladiator I have just recently won on Ebay.

4) Hardware Online is alright but nothing spectacular.

5) I can connect to Eyetoy Chat flawlessly but no-one is EVER ONLINE! :P

So any suggestions at all would be nice and thanks a bunch in advance.

Its funny. Why are some of you complaning about a game thats not compatible with Windows XP when you can just get it for the original XBOX? :P They are pretty cheap and along with Halo 2 I don't see why you should spend any more than £50 (don't know how much in dollars sorry).

If you really wanted to play Halo 2 you would do that. Not just be complaning by saying 'Oh no why is this damn game not compatible with XP'?

Woot! good work falling leaf, Vista is terrible for games-In_Flames-

Not really. I've tried games such as Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and F.E.A.R on my Vista PC and it works absolutely fine.
