Sweet Roku! How can people do this? True AWS.

In my nitch of friends at my college, I am pretty much known as the Avatar. However there is one girl I know who watches the show as feverishly as me. She's working on a cosplay of Zuko from the finale, and has wrote over fifity Avatar drabbles. I can't find it in me to write Zuko in OZ because inspiration is destroyed when I look at my bad grammar (need to find beta-reader). Usually my friend and I would watch Avatar every time it came on when we were hanging our, we'd watch it on our laptops at school (DVDs), yet we have not done so since December, this is why.

SHE HAD NOT WATCHED A SINGLE EPISODE SINCE CROSSROADS. And I don't mean new episodes like us, I'm talking about juicy reruns that keep us sane in this Hiatus from Heck.

In the name of Avatar's creativity, what possesses her? She says she won't watch any ATLA until we get Book 3: Fire. Not even a rerun of the season two's finale, to absorb its awesome-ness again and catch every little mind-bobbling detail. I still don't understand, she says this is how she has been "coping" with the abscent of new episodes. She doesn't watch to see any steller fighting sequences, hear Sokka's sarcasm, or endure Zuko's angst (can't say I blame her there.) Any of it. She refuses to even watch her old clips with Koh and Iroh, whom are her favorite antagonist and protagonist.  NONE OF IT. NO Koh's creepiness, no Iroh wisdom or love.

Heaven Above, how do these people do it? Over FOUR MONTHS of Avatar withdrawl. Maybe she just isn't a hardcore fan she says she is, or she has a will of iron. Maybe this this a strike against Nick. Or she still can't cope with Zuko's choices. Huge Zuko fangirl in her. I know denial can be a healthy thing (what I found at Booter-freak's recently. Fishman/Zombie love *shudders*). But c'mon. You change for reality, it doesn't change for you.

Just imagine if this were you. 0.0
