I didn't necessarily think it failed, but I completely agree with this article. It wasn't ground-breaking character development as the developers always bragged about, but the game as a whole was still genuinely great.
@MooncalfReviews I've simply been picky since there's no depth of field effect in the game, removing realistic 'camera focus' effects from the game that are present in most releases these days. It really makes a big difference. It's alright that they don't have it, though. Just an observation.
@VitorFFer @sugrim It's also worth mentioning the PS3 has always been technologically superior to the 360, regardless of the number of developers who were unable to harness the cell processor.
@wgerardi @Addice It took me nearly 40 hours to complete it my first time through. You shouldn't give up based on the length. Since you liked it, you might easily be able to handle it the length.
@SeannTHEsheep That's already been a thing with some PC games. My 3-disc Mass Effect 3 for PC downloads the game from the cloud after instantly asking me to install Origin.
Unfortunately by the time this game comes out, 50% of the players will most likely not have played the series from the beginning, and not appreciate the story, damn...
@Smokescreened84 @frozenux I'm a male, and I "identify" better with Femshep simply because her vocal performance is more convincing than the default male alternative. For me, it's all in the acting. When I played as a male the game felt a little dry, because unfortunately Maleshep sounded like a robotic cardboard sci-fi hero that we've all seen before.
