i was wondering what ppl thought of Nintendo's marketing strategies in terms of ansoff's matrix. Are they diversifying into new markets? Or are they applying to the hardcore gamer market with new products?

Personally, I think they should focus on product devlopment, but they're focusing too much on diversification which could result in loss of current demographics, particularly the hardcore gamer demographic.

I hope this isn't over everyone's heads lol.

I agree that we'll have to wait for some gameplay. However, I have to admit that trailer was so epicly amazing.

Honestly, I think it'll turn out great either way cuz bioware is developing it. I'm just glad they're back for this KOTOR.

www.xfire.com

Look at the top 10 game, COD4 is #2 anytime, and Spore is anywhere near the middle. Everyone plays them, it's just a matter of what genre you want.

ish27

Spore's only up there cuz its new. Honestly, i don't really reccomend single-player games cuz they get boring once you beat them. Spore doesn't have multiplay as far as I know.

But COD4 is the pwnage. You said you like tactical. It's not really tactical but it's really great. I reccomend it for sure. Oh and I'm not sure bout Oblivion cuz I dont have it but I'm prob gonna get it too (=0).

Yeah I ran out of space on my internal hard drive and was considering an external one too. Everyone told me the same thing, it won't be fast enough. Yet I use a maxtor 160 gb external harddrive and it runs fine. If you're trying to max out crysis or something I'm not really sure, but definitely it will work great for your older games.

It'll run great. It was the first game that I got for Vista. I'd recommend buying the CSS/Garry's Mod bundle off of Steam for $25. I'm not sure on this, but you might be able to get Day of Defeat with CSS when you buy it retail, so you might want to consider that as well.grim1813

Yeah, retail I got it with DoD:S and HL2: DM for only $20.

I like it, but I think xfire's a lot better. Still have to use it though cuz not every1 has xfire.

Ppl complain about all the updates but I dont think its too big of a problem, and its better to have someone constantly patching stuff than forsaking it entirely.
