I agree the story was pretty much non-existent in the DLC, there were no actual "revelations" that were not apparent from completing the campaign. But in terms of gameplay I think this is superior to the main game. Alucard feels great to control and his powers are much more interesting than Draculas. There are some quite clever puzzles in the DLC- this creativity and challenge was also absent in the main game. Plus no lame stealth sequences.
@CodyBronson1 The Oblivion GOTY edition came with an extra disk that contained the DLC. So you still had to install it but didn't need an internet connection. I bet that this will be exactly the same.
