My 40GB broke last week (doesn't read discs) out of no where, so I was pretty mad because I've been playing the hell out of CoD: WaW with my friends as well as watching a ton of Blu-Rays from Netflix and take really good care of my stuff. I thought I was going to have to send it to Sony and wait forever and pay $160 but my mom suggested getting the slim with her Best Buy card. I was elated that she was willing to do that for me. I called three different Best Buys and only one had one left and they held it for me and I got it two days ago. I love this thing. I've always loved the glossy, piano black finish on the original PS3's and prefer it to the Slim's, but other than that, I think this system rocks. It uses less power which is great, is significantly smaller and lighter, and the Eject/On/Off buttons are sexy as hell. But most of all, I love having a 2-year warranty! :D

Looking forward to a long, beautiful relationship with this system.

Socom was my favorite multiplayer game and I had some great times on there, but Zipper is absolutely blowing it. It used to be about great, focused gameplay and strategy amongst 16 people on some great maps with no respawn, so there was a reason to stay alive and win. Now all they want to do, as well as other studios and creators, is to be able to have 23,000 people battling it out and respawning. It's retarted. I've done it before on games like the Battlefield series. It's cool at first, but gets old fast. You're just one stupid little person amongst soooooo many. The team aspect and strategy is completely thrown out the window.

I'll never buy this game. Have fun.

Sega - Pac Man - I had one of those huge turbo controllers or whatever that was big, flat, had a big joy stick and a bunch of buttons. Anyways, I was playing co op with a buddy and we got really far and I ended up dying, so I (I have no clue why I did this) threw the controller down, whipped my pee-pee out, and just started peeing all over it. I was about 9 years old or so. It was so spontaneous and weird.

N64 - Pilot Wings 64 - I remember absolutely shattering my awesome, clear N64 controller against our hardwood floor. Don't remember why exactly.

PS2 - Socom Series (Multiplayer) - I've broken two controllers and a headset because of Socom. Once during Desert Glory I kept getting nailed by grenades so I went and hid in a spot where there are never grenades, and guess what, I get fragged. I immediately started smacking my controller over and over again against my nearby desk and it just kept shattering with every hit.

If anyone wants to join a league and are active and will actually show up for a draft, then leave your e-mail (or PM me). Let's have a real, active, competitive league here.

League is on ESPN, free, H2H standard categories, 10 teams, mixed league, auction draft, and the draft time is April 15 (Wednesday) at 8:00pm ET. Again, don't bother if you can't make the draft.

I've played on-line so far, and although great, it's pretty much same as CoD 4, just WWII.

If it has old school spirit with a polish look, I'm down as hell.
