Just wondering to OP, why not get a GTX 670 power edition and overclock the hell out of it? It's within 10% of a GTX 680 since it's the same bus width.
Wait until AMD's Trinity APUs come out next month. They are still going to make loads of money off of laptops. There are more people buying laptops nowadays than desktops, or budget gaming desktops being bought which commonly involve AMD CPUs.
If you have $300, get the GTX 660 TI and overclock it. It's within 5% the performance of a GTX 670, the only difference being the bus width. Should max any game at 1920x1080 no problemo.
You could get the 660 TI and overclock it. It will be within like 10% of the performance of a GTX 670. The only difference is the bus width. Do yourself a favor and save $100.
