@skyhighgam3r: on ps4 they couldve read directly from bluray, but instead chose to install full game and then read from hdd. Bluray is much faster than hdd :)

I have finally come to terms. I played this game with passion. I loved the first chapters. My brain went from joy seizures to nostalgic ecstasy constantly. I played through all side quests and expanded the experience a bit. And, of course, I finished it. All of this happened in quarantine, which possibly made the experience much more intense.

I admit it: I didn't like the ending. I admit it: I was a bit angry and overtaken by the changes and story approach. I admit it: I yelled, I cried, I pissed my pants, I felt home sick, I called my mother, told her how much i miss her, told her that this whole situation was too much for me to handle, told her I couldn't wait to see her again, she told me everything will be alright but she was a bit confused: she was sitting in the living room all along, we've been in quarantine together the whole time... This shows how strongly affected I was. I even deleted a comment here about how much I had disliked the ending. I am not proud of that, I admit it and formally apologize to the possible repliers. I am human, after all.

Now i can see the light. A very faded light, but a light nevertheless. I don't know how this game will be continued in the next episodes and i don't know if the Nomura-effect will work out for the best. What I do know is that regardless of the ending I totally loved the experience of playing this game. I was deeply immersed, in a way that I haven't seen in years. I am also grateful that fellow gamers have accompanied me in my ending-related despair, and their support has worked wonders. Once again, I have understood that the world doesn't turn around me specifically and that, while I am not alone with my concerns, my feelings towards the approach are neither eternal nor final. This experience has showed me I am never too late to re-adapt. It has been a very transformative event and for that I am satisfied.

I hope SE can truly bring this one home and do the wonders they were known to do back in the day. Even though the success is uncertain, I understand that they have shown they can still do a good game, even if it isn't perfect. Here's hoping that everything will turn out to be great, and if it doesn't, then it was a good first game either way.

@mogan: nice feedback. I never bought Anthem but what you say aligns very much with my impressions of the game through gameplay videos. It looks cool and seems to have some fun factor. The four classes give a nice Destiny vibe and the graphics are not bad. Honestly i was a bit shocked when it flopped. But thats life i guess.

Thats the units.

Now lets talk about the money. How much they made, not how much they sold :)
