@norjayy: i guess they reviewed it again on PS4? Which would be a very dumb reason. But this being GS you can never be too sure :)

@norjayy: the Last of Us was an 8/10. Not a 9. I seriously dont know how GS is not clear about this.

@jenovaschilld: I thank you very much for this feedback. I will definitely check this out. I see your points and am now more intrigued to see what others think about this game. I was very troubled with the ending at first (i am human, i had no choice...it was a lot...i even deleted some comments...and on whatsapp as well...not proud of that). But now that i have cooled off I can see a shed of light at the end of the tunnel. I am still not happy with the ending, but I was damn happy with the overall game and loved 90% of its story.

Look, if purists are able to like the ending, it doesnt mean i have to, but it sure as hell means that maybe there is more to this than my own feelings. I was shocked and even a bit upset, because it was going wonderful up until chapter 17-18. I will play the game multiple times and see how i can place the ending a bit better. I think all the theories ive seen so far have a lot of interesting elements, and seeing as most of them try to connect the original, the movie and this one, i guess the story could be vast and dense.

Again I thank you for the wonderful feedback, really made my day. I think such communication connects us way more than just bashing at reviewers. As far as FFVIIR, I hope this unknown journey can develop as well as its introduction. I can never be too sure with Nomura involved, and seeing as those dementors have black cloaks...well, i could be a bit anxious. But if the overall quality is any hint, the rest of this story could be something just as special or heck even more extraordinary.

Heres to a great second episode. Lets hope it will all be for the best :)

However, that ending clearly slaps the "remake" concept off. It is not a remake. That cannot be ignored. The game should not be excused for this (not saying thats what youre doing)

Is it very very well done? yes. Objectivity in this case is redundant haha. No one can deny the quality here. I enjoyed the game a lot. It was a fantastic experience XD I just wish the ending is addressed as to what it really is and, although we can dwell into fan theories and what not, with Nomura involved you can never be too sure :)

Im glad you give it a 9/10. Thats a pretty good score and it means purist are also enjoying what the game is offering.
