E3 this year was spectacular. With a slow start things quickly began to hot up with gameplay trailers from modern warfare 2, with a nice insight into the setting for the new game. We were then quickly ushered into the xbox exclusives and were treated to a feast of Halo ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and the announcment of Halo: Reach, the next installment of the popular franchise. Just when things could not get any better out of the blue, the franchise of Hideo Kojima Metal gear was announced for the 360. Not a port of MGS4 but a whole new game Metal Gear Rising, starring the old protagonist of Raiden.
