Geez I got the E3 emblem for the Nintendo Conference, the moment I clicked on Live Conference video. They're on top of the Conference emblems but not the other ones =/

Heavy Rain

Just got done with my first play through and working on my second. This game is pretty amazing, more so than I expected. It's rare when you actually get attached to the characters and feel for whats happening to them. I also added a review on the game too, if anyone is kind of deciding on getting the game or not. If anyone is already playing, what do you think of it thus far?
Oh and PS: If anyone got that free expansion the Taxidermist, I guess they moved the time back on to activate it, so we have to wait till March 4th.
Demons Souls! I love to hate you

I finally got my hands on this game and for all its frustrations I can't help but keep playing. I'm really into this game. I started out as a Temple Knight but found the Halberd just not to my liking nor the class itself. I decided to switch to the Soldier and I'm loving the class. What is everyone else playing as?
I love the whole blood stains and seeing the souls of others players run around. Even though you are sort of playing alone its cool to see other people running around with you. I love watching some of the blood stains too. To see people just run and fall of ledges, etc.. Overall I'm really loving this game. I thought the difficulty would ruin it for me, but I cant stop playing. It's one of those games that just rewards you for your hard work. Thats my little rant.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas. =D

As the title states, have a great holiday. Hopefully you'll get all those games you couldn't afford earlier. I myself will be getting Resistance 2 and Call of Duty: World at War. But other than that, be safe and have a great Christmas.
Gears of War 2 is amazing!! =D

Got it at the midnight release. And I must say this game is truly amazing. If you needed a reason for a 360, this is it. The storymode alone thus far is really good. Lovin every minute of it. Can't wait to finish the game, then jump into some multiplayer. Really looking forward to Horde mode online, I think thats going to be one of the best things about the game.
So if you thinking of getting it, get it. If you going to get it, get it now. =D
Dead Space tomorrow!!
by GDCalibur on Comments
Heres a brief description for the people that don't know.
"Dead Space is a horror-themed survival-horror game set in space." Told ya. Brief.
Anyway, I have this game pre-ordered for the PS3. For anyone that is also getting it for the PS3. Better get the special PS3 suit off PSN right away. Cause I know its only going to be up for a limited time. I got it before the game came out. That way I can use that suit when I start. Considering it's better then the one you start out with. I read the comics and I'm looking forward to the anime film that will follow-up to the comics. That lead to the game.
I have pretty high hopes for this game. Considering their hasn't been a real Survival Horror game for the next gen, like this. And no RE4 is not surivial horror. It's Survival Adventure. RE lost that after they made RE4. Great game , but I digress. Anyway any one else getting it?
My laptop journey!
by GDCalibur on Comments
So today I had to buy my laptop for school. I was thinking yeah it will probably cost me around 1.5k at the most. So I'm browsing Dell for laptops. I find one for 1.4k. Then I had to modify it for the specs I need. It ends up going up to 2k but It's missing a few specs that I needed.
So I went back to the drawing board for a better Laptop. This one's base was like 2.4k. I was starting to get mad knowing that half the specs on the base laptop needed to be changed. I was just watching the counter go up and up as I changed things for the laptop. Mind you this laptop is for my Game/ Character Design BA. But back to the laptop. After everything was all said and done. I ended up spending $2,925.35. I was about to cry when I saw this. Cause I was thinking earlier in a few months I can buy a nice large flat screen tv. But now I can't. =( I look on the bright side, I have this most kick ass Laptop. Heres some of the specs :
XPS M1730, Intel Core 2 Duo T9300(2.5GHz, 800Mhz, 6M L2 Cache)
1 PERSONALIZATION SHIELD, LCD COLOR WING OPTION,RED
1 4GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm for XPS M1730
1 17 UltraSharp TrueLife Wide screen WUXGA for XPS M1730
1 NVIDIA SLI Dual GeForce 8700MGT with 512MB GDDR3 Memory
1 320G 5400RPM SAMSUNG Hard Drive
Thats pretty much sums up what I got for it. Got a bunch of other stuff added to it. Thankfully they had a deal on it. And thank god I went to E 4 All. Cause Dell handed out some cards for 10% off on computers over $1499. I was suprised on how many annoying options they wanted me to pay for. This being my first computer I built online like this. I've built tons of comps but none from Dell and stuff. Just tons upons of tons of options that you don't need. But I know enough about computers to know. I'm sure they get a lot of people that have no clue. So yeah thats my rant.
I look at this as nothing more than an object to help my career.
A day of Remembrance, 9/11.
by GDCalibur on Comments
So it's that time of the year again. Where you reflect on your life, to the moment 9/11. I'm sure everyone to this day can still remember what they were doing when it happened. I remember I was at the DMV getting my drivers license. Well it happened before I even left actually. I was waking up to my mom watching the news. Then we saw it on tv and the news. Afterwards we went to the DMV. While there, it was pretty empty cept for some people, and the workers. Waiting in line, the police came through to inspect the DMV incase anything was fishy and/or out of the ordinary. Afterwards they told us to leave for what reason I forget. So we went home and watched the news all day. But yeah thats pretty much how it went for me. So please feel free to post what you were doing.
Anyway my friend had post a great blog as well, and I wanted to share it with everyone. Cause it pretty much summed up what I felt as well.
"Oh yes, most importantly, Remember 9/11. Remember and honor the bravest and the finest who gave their lives to rescue people they didn't even know and probably wouldn't even like if they did. Regardless of your views on the day, it is one that has without a doubt changed the direction of history. The spectacular fires that raged, the agonizing moans from the forest of twisted steel, and the tragic lost of innocent lives perforated our ivory tower. It is that day that we realized that we were vulnerable and it was that day that our resolve was tested. Whether through ignorance or earnest we carried on, refusing to capitulate to fear, denying those who would do us harm the only weapon they have. Do not give into fear, Do not give into hate, for those who have given their lives did not do just so others would embrace such malice. Honor them, embrace what they stood and fought for: Liberty, Equality, and Unity."
I hope everyone has a great day.
Thank you.
Too many games, and not a big enough wallet.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem as of late. But I finally see the one downfall of owning all 3 next-gen systems. Be it, the Wii has like nothing for awhile, thank god. Well nothing I want.
But the PS3 and 360, oh geez. I have Gears of War 2, Fable 2 , Resistance 2 , Little Big Planet , SW: The Force Unleashed , Killzone 2 , Dead Space , Bioshock(PS3) , Rock Band 2 , CoD: World at War , Warhammer Online , Resident Evil 5 , and Left 4 Dead. I actually think I missed a few games too. All these damn pre-orders to worry about. At the point where I almost need a 2nd job just to get all these bad boys. I'm glad a few are staggered so: 1. I can actually beat them before the others come out. 2. I can save up some money to actually get them.
Anyone else in the same situation, or is everyone a millionaire but me? =P
Oh the suffering of being a gamer.
