What is Halo 3? A critically acclaimed game which sold millions of copies. Same with gears. I love both games (although Halo3 is not the greatest thing since sliced bread).

Resistance was a generic shooter (according to many Cows). Resistance2 is an improved version of a generic shooter. I'll take Gears and/or Halo over Resistance (and apparently, many reviewers and consumers also prefered these games over Resistance).

According to what I've read on these and other forums, LBP is a game that can get old fast. Not my cup of tea.

MGS4 is probably an overhyped (therefore it received great reviews) game, just like Halo 3. I usually don't like stealth games, so...

But hey, we don't live in a world of exclusives. I love CoD4 and Fifa09. I enjoyed FableII. I'm planning on buying Dead Space. I hope CoD:WaW turns out to be as fun as CoD4. I'll have a blast with L4D.
