Long post time. Alright. I can do it. Let's go.
Well, I haven't mentioned it much, but I'm kind of an avid musician. For the uninformed, that equates to me playing the guitar, bass, piano, mandolin, drums, flute, and the keyboard (side note: I kind of suck at the drums and flute). So, as one would expect, I enjoy writing music.
The problem is, whenever I write music, it always comes out very somber-sounding. When I'm writing on guitar, I'll try to work with power chords and let my fingers do what they want to... but, ten minutes later, I have the most emo-sounding song you've ever heard. Luckily, from here I mix it up a little and make it a blues song, which is good. But still, I'm not a goth kid! I do not sit in my room writing dark poetry!
Maybe it's all the satanist quests I've been taking on in Oblivion...
Anyways.
I'm really enjoying Shadow of the Colossus, but I can't ever give myself an excuse to play it. I think, okay, I'm gonna play this, because I enjoy it, and- oh, look, I'm playing San Andreas again. I don't even like San Andreas, and I've been playing it in place of such brilliant works as Shadow of the Colossus and Psychonauts. I feel guilty now. Ugh.
Back to the music! I would like to dispel a rumor/belief: rock soloing, like Stairway to Heaven or (insert Guns N' Roses song here)? Very easy. Not as difficult as it sounds. Just fast. Moving on.
I require alcohol.
Anyways, I've been trying to get sound clips of some of my songs from GarageBand on here (go Mac!... as I use a PC), but GS is not being friendly. Time to pull out tricks. I should be able to put some music up within the next few weeks, but probably not my more complex stuff. Because GS is unfriendly.
Curse you, Greg Kasavin!
...
Yeah, I kid.
Anyways, long post done. Enjoy. Comment. Donate money.
By the way? Agent Black is dead. I didn't like the name. Currently thinking up a new one. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
