I bought this console for MH3U. I don't know how it happend but somehow this is the only game my gf like to play too.

I would have bought the console later when there were more triple A games like Mario, Zelda, DK, Kirby etc but when I saw MHU at a friends house I just couldnt resist.

I only hope they will add more content over time then they did on the Wii (none).

All in all I'm not suprised people do not buy the console for this game. It's weird, kinda slow and has a high learning curve. Not something the typical casual/cod/fifa player likes to play.

^ GoW 3 underwhelming, seriously?

The GoW saga was my first purchase for the PS3. I absoluty loved it and got all 5 games platinum. I found GoW 3 best of all, great graphics, action packed and an engaging story.

Haven't heard much about GoW:A though. I probably pick it up sooner or later but I have many other great games to play first.

You can see how big it is while downloading right? I play it of the disc but before I could play I had to install some data for 10 minutes too. So I guess it's a big game.

Tablets certainly have something to do with it. For example my GF really liked the casual games on the Wii but since the ipad she hardly ever mentioned console gaming. She only plays dance central every once in a while but that's only because I have a Xbox and kinect anyway. She would never afford one herself.

She really likes games like unblock me and Dragonvale on the ipad and iphone though and I can't blame her. An Ipad is much more user friendly and if she's bored of a game she's on youtube in 2 clicks.

Damn I'm not sleeping at home tonight. Is this permanent or only for a day?

How different familiars does the game have? I checked my spellbook and suprisingly I see a lot of species I haven't discovered yet and the pages are almost full.

So anyone has a rough estimate, preferably without evolutions? (so only the "first" familiars like Mitey).

The game is looking to take player interaction to a whole new level and change the way we look at roleplaying/strategy games forever. Basically think of it as a next gen Mass Effect. Master_ShakeXXX
