Looking to see if anyone else can confirm this.

I have not chosen the Extract skill for my wizard character, yet when I am in the game playing him, he has the skill anyway.

The skill gives you back MP when you hit an enemy with the Magic Shot (square button).

Level 1 of the skill is supposed to give you back 5 MP when you hit something.

I am getting 10 MP when I hit anything at all with the square button, and I have gone back to check the skill list, and I did not put any points into the skill at all.

I have checked all my items, and nothing I can see grants this skill.

If it's not a bug, I can't tell why in the world I would have this skill for free.

Dragon Age is NOT a game that NEEDS SLI at all...

It plays just fine at max detail 2xaa on my 8600 GT paired with an athlon X2 5200+ with 2gb of RAM @ 1280x1024.

There is NO NEED for SLI for this game.

Heck these are the requirements for the video card for XP.

Video: ATI Radeon X850 128MB or greater;

NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB or greater.

You can hardly claim that there is no need for SLI for this game. What you meant to say was "If you're going to run the game at a s.h.i.t.t.y resolution like I am, there is no need for SLI for this game."

Some of us prefer to run the game at 16 AF and 8 AA at 1920 x 1080 or beyond. And still want butter smooth framerates. And so yes, SLI is needed for this game. And it looks fantastic.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I guess what I am probably wondering about is the size of the set. I took Okami over to a neighbor's house yesterday and he's got a 60-inch Mitsu DLP TV in his den, and Okami did not look good on it. Amaterasu was very blurry and so were the background scenes. I am guessing this is because the TV was just too big, and the Wii doesn't output that high of a resolution.

I am hoping that on a smaller TV in 16:9 and progressive scan, it will look terrific. Better than on our old Standard def set. What I don't know is how big is too big. Some of you mentioned 32 so maybe that's a good size so that the game still looks sharp and good. I'm not sure. I don't have an unlimited budget, but I'd certainly like to get as large a size as I can without it making Okami look bad. We would be using this TV pretty much just for the Wii so getting it right is important.

Hello,

I am looking to replace the tv in our family room, and my kids love playing Okami. Do any of you out there play Okami too on an LCD HDTV?

Could you tell me what brand and screen size you play on? And how Okami looks on it?

Thank you!
