You hit that on the head....I hate the fact that there are 500 belts out there too. Honestly there are too many divisions and belts. How about reducing the number of both so we can have a lot of actually "important" and championship caliber fights. I know alot of times guys own multiple belts but if there was only 1 belt per division you would see the best against the best fight for that belt. They would have no other option, no secondary belts...... You want it, come get it.....thats the way it should be.
I will agree on the advertising front....Rockstar goes all out. I does get annoying at times but the sales will be HIGH and the reviews will be up and down I'm sure. I know one thing, Rockstar makes their games seem "ALL-WORLD" everytime one comes out and people buy it for just that reason. It was so hyped, they bought it and Rockstars sales go up, they're in it for the money!
I'll give a quick review.... This game is bad! Not in a good way either. There are just SOOO many flaws in what could be a decent game.First off it only took about 6hrs to beat and that was with pauses in between. The whole thing in only 5 levels. Bear skydives in doing some really awkward looking skydiving moves that are terrible from a graphics standpoint. When you gather water its the same canned motions on every level. The graphics are pretty terrible ane the movements are extremely robotic. When he jumps he jumps like 10ft. In order to attack animals MOST of the time you just walk right up to them and from there its just button pushing with timing to catch and kill predators. Honestly even as a huge Bear Grylls fan this game was SO disappointing....if you EVER want to try it, please rent it. If you buy it (like I did) you better have 30 bucks just to blow...(28.95 at the local Wal-Mart). I'll leave a full review on the game page but seriously a low end game for MANY MANY reasons....too bad too a game like this could be pretty cool.
exactly he MAY not be scared of Manny but he doesnt want to either put in the work or worry about what a loss and possible KO by Manny that would tarnish Floyds legacy....Not to mention everyone would always put Manny ahead of Floyd when talking about being the greatest in the weight class.... Floyd stop being scared (of something) and make it happen its what boxing NEEDS.....
Sounds exciiting to me....I just cant wait to the see the intelligence behind the game.This one should be pretty cool being on the "other" side of the fence.
I've already stated my point on the "old-school" guys but to say Dan Marino gets mentioned among the greatest QBs in history, even thats debatable. I only say that because he played for MANY years and racked up TONS of stats. BUT, when "MOST" people talk about the greatest QBs of all time usually listed ahead of him are guys like Joe Montana, Steve Young, Tom Brady. Notice anything about those guys.....they all have rings. I will say that Marino is mentioned with the John Elways (multiple rings), the Jim Kellys of the world.
yeah i brought it back to life because some folks said it would be awesome to see a game with Bear and since it actually happened I figured I'd let folks know whether its decent or not.... soon that it.... ;)
I understand that African-Americans are called just that. On job applications/college enrollment forms and things of the like, why is it that people are "labeled" as certain groups? I mean my my grandpa was the first one born in America (the rest were in Ireland) and my fathers side came from England in the mid 1800s. Why must I just check "caucasian"? Same thing with Hispanic and Latino? There generally is also Asian and African American. How is that some folks can claim these categories when their families may have been in America since who knows? I mean what about those folks from small towns whos parents are born there, their parents born there also, and same for their parents and their parents again. FINALLY you trace it all back to someone that came from Africa/Asia/Mexico in the 1800s and yet their considered a different category than someone whos relatives came over 50 years ago and are now just "caucasian" and American.... Why cant we ALL just be Americans especially if generation after generation are from here????? (This is just one of those mind scratchers.... at least for me anyhow) Comments???
