Over the weekend I managed to knab to of my most wanted games for the Xbox 360. Mass effect and Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed was only £35 at HMV (plus i had a £10 voucher!) but the real bargain was at Gamestation for Mass Effect.... £19.99! Have it! Anyways I havne't got round to playing Mass Effect as i'm making my way through Asassin's creed first (review coming soon!)

My thoughts so far on Assassin's creed...

At first i was awed by the style, control scheme and visual concept of the first city, Damascus, in Assassin's creed. I'm now on memory block 4/5 (about half way through the game) and I think the tedium of going to the city, doing 4 side missions, and then carrying out one assassinationhas really hit in. With the sidequests being no longer than a GTA submission, the campaign isn't too inspiring. That said Assassin's is still a great game and the story seems to just be warming up! The achievements rock too!
