It is now 2008, 07 was one of the best if not the best year for games.There were a lot of releases for all consoles and handhelds. In this blog i will say which games were my favorite games of the year.Since i dont have a 360 or a wii i will only be talking aobut ps3 and handhelds.

5th place:Warhawk..?
Yea well the reason warhark has a question mark is because i cant think of any other games besides it.To be completly honest i think warhawk isnt that great, its fun but i just dont seem to enjoy playing it.I was in the beta and i loved the game.So when it came out i bought it almost imedeatly , and i played it 3 days before i got bored.Since then i have probably only played it a few times.I like it but i think i overplayed it during the beta.

4th place:Legend of Zelda and the Phantom Hourglass
Best DS game i have ever played, it feels as if this could have been a console game if it had better graphics and maybe had a bit longer story.As i said it is the best DS game i have ever played.It has the Zelda story, with fun gameplay and cool characters.There are alot of this you can do and even more tings you can collect. The only thing i notice is a bit bad is that sometimes the controls dont respond correctly.

3rd place:Assassins Creed
Assassins creed.....one of those love or hate games.Many people praised it many people denounced it.It was praised for it freedom and platforming. It was denounced for its repetitveness and its combat.I happen to think that it is a very good game.Not excellent but good.It does get repetitive, very repetitve.But it can also be extremely fun.It really depends on what the player likes.I loved the platforming sometimes i just play it for that alone.It couldve been much better, but atleast there will be a sequel hopefully by then it will please more.

2nd place:Call of duty 4
COD4 is an incredible game.First thing ill say right now is if you like fps and have not bought this game yet buy it! Buy it as soon as possible.It is one of the most fun games i have ever played.Both single player and online.(especially online) Single player is full of exciting missions, and objectives.I do notice though that in single player there some times where you keep killing enemies and it can go on forever, what you dont realize is that for it to stop you have to advance.It also get way too chaotic sometimes, bullets flying every where and you die and your like WTF just happened?Online is amazing, this game is probably the best game ive played online,( 2nd would be RFOM)It balances out everything, i garantee that it will amaze you, if you can find a game.I know there was a patch but sometimes it is still hard to join a game.

1ST PLACE:ROCKBAND !!!!
Rockband is Amazing, gh was a 10 Rockband turns it up to 11!!( sigh) ....Yea as i was saying its awesome despite the hefty price tag.It includes drums guitar and vocals, i think that a good deal.At first i didnt think i would buy DLC because i havent bough dlc for any other game before but so far i have bought 11 songs.that 22 dollars! not that much but still.The single player is fun but obviously not as fun as playing with some buddies.That when it gets better and then you argue on who messed up, and start screaming that hes stupid becasue he didnt use overdrive to save you and things like that.The best part about the game is the drumming.You suck at the beginning but as you keep playing and get to harder songs it actually gets more fun.Vocals is one of those guilty pleassures you want to sing but at the same time you know you suck.But you dont care because its really fun.IMO this is a must get!
