I'm looking for a nice 24 inch monitor, preferably 1080p, for a good price. Google searches always tend to point me to a 2007 discussion, so I'm asking here. Thanks guys!

I'm very OCD about having nice game cases, but I buy used games, and often the game sleeves and cases are beaten up when I get them. Is there a place where I can buy clean replacement cases/game sleeves for PS2/PS3?

Hey guys, I want to play PS3 games at night, and I want a good pair of headphones that can do "true" surround sound that can hopefully compete with a 300 dollar speaker set + receiver. I don't need wireless.

The Tritton AX Pro's seem amazing, but they are slightly out of my price range. The AX360's look good too, but I heard they're not true surround. However, the quality of the sound is most important to me. Has anyone tried any good ones (that can do MGS4's sound justice).

Hey, I'm posting this in the PS3 board because I'm replaying the MGS games as a prelude to MGS4. I haven't played either game, and I don't care about nostalgia or the "classic" factor. I have a Wii and a PS2 already, and money/rarity of finding the games is not an issue. If the Twin Snakes remake is the same except graphically updated, I would like to play Twin Snakes. However, if there are missing story elements, or if Twin Snakes is some sort of modified version, then I might opt to play the original. What do you think?

I was one of those people who advocated some of the style changes. After reading this interview: I take back everything I advocated. It's obvious this designer knows what he's doing and I will completely trust Blizzard. This type of community response is what makes me keep faith in the greatest pc developer of all time. You will see no more debating from me.

A lot of emotional and exaggerated responses here. I only signed the petition because I thought the blue colour hue in the dungeon looked a lot better with a different hue that was shown in a comparison picture. (It was labeled 'wow gayness' even though I don't feel that way). I think the outdoor scenes were perfect and I'm happy with the overall art direction outside of the dungeons. I also thought that some of the comparison pictures were better.

This is simply something for the devs to consider. They aren't going to go and cry about it, but maybe they will add a gritty filter that's an optional turn on or change the hue of the underground dungeon. Nobody is against colours. I think that spells and such should be as colourful as possible.

Hey Dirk,

I've read some of your other posts on this board, and you seem like a very pro-plasma guy. The reason why I'm not going for plasma is because I have big windows in the TV room and I heard plasmas were bad under weird lighting conditions. All the plasmas at stores are also strategically placed in darker areas. What would you say about this?

I'm looking at a 52" 1080p TV and so far I've narrowed it down to a few choices. The Sharp Aquos (64U version), Samsung (550), and this new LG TV, which has 120hz. The Sharp's 120hz TV costs a lot, and the Samsung 120hz has this weird effect I don't like on it.

My dad's willing to spend the extra bucks to get a quality TV, but I'm wondering if the 120hz is worth it over the Sharp and Samsung.

Here's the sharp:

Here's the Samsung:

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Whoa hold on a second. I'm buying an HDTV and I was under the impression that 120 mhz just meant that games or other sources over 60 fps would not be blurry. Are you telling me that they actually INCREASE the frame rate of shows? I don't want movies looking like news programs.
