Ok, I have had my Xbox 360 for about a year and a half or so, and up untill recently, it has worked just fine. Just a couple weeks ago, I bought Assassin's Creed. It ran smoothly for about 2-3 hours and then it said "Disk is unreadable." But, I just popped it back in and tryed again. After about 15 minutes, it said it again. So, I decided to see if I could tell why it said this. I started playing, and I noticed that everytime I got near a "viewpoint" in any main city, it said the disk was unreadable. I tested this a few more times, and everytime, the messege popped up. Therefor, figuring it was just the disk, I bought a new Assassin's Creed (even from a different store!) and it worked for about an hour or two and then the message popped up when I tryed to get a "viewpoint." I don't know if it is just my Xbox 360 that needs to be repaired, if there is a setting I can turn off, or if I just need to get an update off of Xbox Live. Any response would be helpful.

Thank you!

This is a question for all of the people that have played Assassins Creed (for both PS3 and Xbox 360). I was thinking about getting this game but I do not know what platform the game is better on. For Assassins Creed, I was leaning toward PS3 untill I remembered that I can get acheivements on the Xbox 360...Please help me decide. Thank you very much!

P.S.

F.Y.I. it's not like i want to do the acheivements for gamerscore, but i just enjoy the aditional things that you can do/show your friends what you did. Thanks again!
