Blog #16: Story time! The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Gods Chapters 1-3!

Hello, people. I have been writing a story about the post-game events of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I thought I would post the first three chapters here. Chapter Four - AnOld Enemy is being written right now. In Chapter Four, expect a surprise, you older Zelda players. You may remember a form of this person in a few games, such as Zelda II, Ocarina of Time, and many others. I'll post Chapter Four in a few minutes. These things are hard to write, you know.

Chapter 1: The Beginning of The End

Link walked around the ranch and herded up goats when Fado yelled, "Hey, Link! Someone's here for you!"
Link walked over and saw someone in a cloak. He noticed right away that it was Princess Zelda in disguise.
"Link," she whispered, "I need your help again. You might have defeated Ganondorf, but there is a new evil rising. Will you help me?" Link nodded, and he ran to his house after rounding up all the goats, and he got his Hero's Clothes and Ordon Sword again. Zelda followed him and took her cloak off. She held her sword up.
"Are you ready, Link?" She asked. Link nodded.
"Good. Where is your horse?" As she asked this, Epona neighed.
"She's in the forest! Let's go, Link!" Zelda said. She ran into the forest with Link right behind her. When they reached Epona, she was being harassed by Bulblins. Zelda summoned a giant Triforce of light and defeated most of them, and Link and Zelda finished the stragglers off afterward. Epona neighed happily.
"Let's go to the Hyrule Field, Link," Zelda said. "That's where we'll find the way to Kakariko Village. Maybe the shaman can help us." Link nodded, and he spurred Epona on to Hyrule Field.

Chapter 2: Kakariko Village - Decimated

Link and Zelda rode on to Kakariko Village, but when they got there, it was completely destroyed. Even the Spirit Spring has dried up.
"I knew that we had little time before it attacked Kakariko Village, I just didn't know how little...." Zelda said.
Link..... Zelda.... Come to the Spring.....
Link and Zelda heard a voice.
"Over there! To the Spring, Link!" Link spurred Epona on and they arrived at the Spirit Spring. The spirit Eldin appeared, or at least, what was left of it.
Link.... Zelda...... They came.... The Twilight is not gone yet.... Eldin said.
"Yes, we know that, Spirit Eldin, but we didn't know that they were this powerful...." Zelda said. "What do we do?"
You must go to the Twilight Temple and defeat the Core of Twilight there...... Eldin said. The Twilight Temple is in Ordon Village... It is where Link went before to defeat the Twilit Parasite, however, it has become completely corrupted with twilight and darkness.....
"If only Midna was here...." Zelda said. "She could help us...."
"Somebody call my name?" Midna came walking up to them. "So what's up with the twilight now?"
"Midna!" Zelda and Link started running toward her and hugged her.
"Hey, I missed you guys too, but let's not make this a mush-fest," Midna said.
"How did you get back, Midna?" Zelda asked. "You destroyed the Mirror of Twilight."
"Yeah, turns out there's another Twilight object that lets the light world and the twilight world communicate," Midna said. "It's actually in the Twilight World. It's called the Twilight Spear. You throw it, and a rip in time and space opens, and you can go between the worlds. I accidentally found it while getting rid of junk in the Palace of Twilight."
"Well, that's good..." Zelda said. "But you're here now, and that's all that matters. Let's go to the Twilight Temple!" Link and Zelda ran to get on Epona when Midna said, "Hold it. I have a better idea." She teleported them all to the Twilight Temple, and they walked inside...

Chapter 3: The Twilight Snail

Link, Zelda, and Midna walked inside the Twilight Temple, and after quite a bit of monster fighting, they made it to a circular room with nothing in it.
"It's quiet.... This can't be good...." Midna said. She looked up and gasped. "Move it, Link!" She pushed him out of the way as a giant twilight snail-beast fell from the ceiling.
"Heheheh..... You fools should not have come here...." it said. "Now I will destroy you for angering THEM."
"We aren't afraid of you!"
Midna and Zelda heard somebody, and they realized that the sound did not come from their own mouths. They looked back at Link.
"Link...? Did you just..." they said in unison.
"Yes, I did, you two," Link said, as he walked forward.
"But you never said anything before," Zelda said.
"I never felt the need to," Link said. "Now are we just going to talk, or are we going to fight?" Link pulled his sword and shield out, Zelda pulled her sword out, and Midna pulled out twilight daggers.
"Heheheh...." said the beast. "You fools should not attack me. You will never survive! But if you insist on throwing your lives away, I suppose I should not stop you!" It charged them, but they slid out of the way and Link, who made it to the side of the beast, slashed its side with his blade. Zelda then shot light energy at the beast, and knocked it down. Link jumped in the air and brought his sword down on the beast while it was stunned from the blast of Zelda's attack, and he promptly defeated it.
"Urgh...." the beast groaned. "I underestimated you.... Twilight Gods, forgive me...." With these last words, the beast then exploded into nothingness.
"Ugh... Stupid beast..." Midna said. "Anyway, should we move on? We aren't going to get to the end this way."
"Right," said Link and Zelda.
