The first console I recieved for my 4th birthday was a Sega Master System, and that started the ball rolling for me.

Games that I remember fondly from that time would have to be :

*Sonic the Hedgehog, 2 and Chaos

*Streets of Rage

*Chuck Rock II : Son of Chuck

*Batman Returns

*Rastan

*Bram Stokers Dracula

*Bart Vs. The space mutants

*The Jungle Book

*Desert Speedtrap

I am now aware that there are a couple of pieces of trash on that list, but that's all I had access to as a child ;)

It's unfortunate that we seem to be lacking in Survival horror titles these days...

Now that Resi has moved into a more action-orientated spectrum, a move which I am by no means opposed to in the spirit of moving forwards, but I will admit to missing the old style Resi games.

The last Project Zero / Fatal Frame game we got outside of Japan was the 3rd entry.

It seems that the PS2 was the last console to carry a decent range of survival horror titles (Haunting ground, Project Zero, Clock Tower 3 to name but a few.)

All we've really had these days is the Saw games (Which weren't amazing), the recentSilent hill gamesandFPS's / Action gameswith survival horror elements. :(

A R.E-make of RE2 is pretty much up there with a FF7 Remake as one of the most fan requested releases ever.

If only they'd listen, eh? I personally would even settle for the first 3 Resi games released on XBLA / PSN...
